The docents do a great job relating life at the Hermitage during Jackson's lifetime. Guided tour of the house and self-tour with handset of the grounds.

A lot of history about Andrew Jackson. Tour guides very good. Touring the mansion was very nice. The property has cotton fields, the Cemetary, a movie giving information on his life.

Overall very disappointed with our Hermitage tour. The museum at the front of the property was actually pretty nice although not very large. I enjoyed reading about Andrew Jackson and definitely learned a few things about his life and career. The grounds weren't bad either....More

This was an excellent tour and lesson about Andrew Jackson. The home and gardens are spectacular and the tour guides were excellent. I have toured many historic mansions and this one has more original items than usual. The gardens alone are worth a visit.

Getting to see so many actual pieces from General Jackson’s time was truly amazing. The authenticity of the Hermitage is a gift. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Nashville’s downtown scene.

I like that u don't have to walk thru the shop to exit like some places. The store has beautiful items related to history. It didn't feel like we were pressured w commercialism.
