Standing as the centerpiece in Nashville's Centennial Park, the Parthenon is a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Come inside to see the 42-foot gilded sculpture of Athena, the permanent display of American paintings from the Cowan Collection, the history of the Nashville Parthenon dating back to the 1897 Tennessee Centennial Exposition, and a variety of temporary shows and exhibitions! The entrance is located on the ground level of the East side of the building.

It is so pretty and relaxing to visit and stroll around. A very nice place to visit as a couple or with a couple.

The full scale Parthenon is a great attraction for cheap money and get a photo you normally wouldn't. $6 for adults. $4 for kids. Small musuem and art gallery down stairs. Massive Athena statue upstairs. Located in Centennial Park.

Go here when you're in Nashville! Just for fun. It's a replica of the original in Athens - Make sure you go when you can get inside!

The best part is the statue of Athena and that's it. We got lucky and visited when a choir group was visiting and the sang like angels but that's not part of the tour, just something that happened by chance.

As we were paying to go to the museum on the first floor, they announced an architectural tour was getting ready to start. We went on the tour that started outside and finished upstairs inside by the statue of Athena. The guide described how the...More
