Much like the French Quarter and Frenchmen's Street in New Orleans the country folk of this great land have Nashville's Broadway and 2nd Avenues. Lively, total fun, just kind of wander in and out of the bars...weeknights there seemed to be absolutely no cover charges but the bands were uniformly good playing typically country-rock standards. Most gift shops stay open... More

I liked the Broadway strip and the side streets as well. The strip has lots of great neon. Its best at night. Lots of music, most of it sounds good. Street performers too. In addition, there's some cool shops, cafe resturants, and a yummy ice cream store, candy store and some other interesting gift spots. Go a night, but I'd... More

It's like the Vegas strip country music themed, but without the casinos. Great live music wherever you go. Nice mix of bars, breweries, and shops. A bit touristy but fun. Pretty good BBQ but I wish they had some better restaurants, and some different food choices, pretty much just BBQ and bar food. Must go while in Nashville.

Went here while downtown Nashville has a lot of little shops to go into a lot of nice places to eat at.

Music pouring out of every door, neon lights, country cover bands playing anything you request... what could be better? Forget Disneyland, this is the happiest place on earth y'all. Currently planning my 6th trip over from the UK!

As an "almost local", we do the district numerous times a year. There's always great music, good food and more. Don't drive through without planning an evening of music visiting all the venues on the strip. Always new talent and endless music genre choices.

The Districts in Nashville is such a fun area to be in. There is always something happening and so many bars, each with free music. The choice of restaurants and entertainment cannot be beat in any other city, particularly in such a concentrated area. Sure with this many people there are bound to be touristy traps, but generally it is... More

Where do you even begin? All you need to do is walk up and down the block to find awesome drinks (or just beer) and awesome-er bands. It is a fantastic place to spend an evening or weekend. I can't remember the name of the specific bar, but we went inside one that was three levels and had three different... More

Walking the area, you hear music from every bar & honky tonk. We went during the day, and at night. Music is a constant. There were also individual musicians on street corners with guitars, saxophones, you name it! Several boot shops and of course the Ernest Tubb Record Shop.
