To get the reason for Nashville, being the town that it is you have to understand the Ryman Auditorium and what it did for a city. If you do anything in Nashville you should do the Ryman tour.

Going to the Grand Ole Opry is a must when visiting Nashville. The Grand Ole Opry is at the Ryman Auditorium during the months of November, December, and January. The permorers are entertaining (whether you like country music or not). I am glad I didn't pass up the opportunity to see the show.

Loved hearing about the history of the Grand Ole Opry. We weren't able to stay for a show. But would highly recommend.

The headliner didn't make it that night and no refund was offered, we were assigned seats behind a support stanchion, and the whole experience wasn't that great. Performers were okay, but the dynamics weren't there. Pricey, had to walk five blocks to park, so we probably have attended for the last time.

Absolutely awesome place. So much history and outstanding entertainment. The backstage tour was extremely informative and exciting. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed her narrative a lot. We'd go back again the next time we're in town. Fabulous. 👍👍👍

Last week I took my 90 year old mom to the Opry at Ryan Auditorium. Have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a country fan, so I was amazed to find something other than country. I'm a huge fan of PHC with Garrison Keiler and believe this might have been the inspiration. The 2 hour show is delivered... More

This is a MUST see if you are a country music fan especially for the back stage tour. You get to see the actual dressing rooms where Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and others have been. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. It is really neat to see.

Very interesting. Self guided tour but a chance to stand on the Ryman stage and photo opportunity. A little expensive for what you get. Would love to go back and see a concert here.

We opted to start our trip with a visit to Ryman, and we are so glad we did. It provided such a nice grounding in the history of the Grand Ole Opry. Amy Grant & Vince Gill were appearing there that evening, and we were able to watch a bit of the stage being set. Our only regret is that... More
