Loved it!! We were so amazed at the history of the Ryman Auditorium. We took the backstage tour and spent time in the dressing rooms, balcony and back stage. Not expensive at all and extremely organized. Don't miss the 11 minute video they show at...More

If you are fortunate enough to be in town for one of the all-too-rare concerts at the Ryman by the Fisk Jubilee Singers, you will have had an experience of Nashville that too few people have had. The Fisk Singers are the reason Nashville became...More

While in Nashville to see the Grand Ole Opry, everyone needs to go to the original "Grand Ole Opry" site. Very historic, well preserved and back in use!

I have been going to the Ryman most of my life. I've seen it in good and bad times. It is worth a visit or tour to say you have seen the Mother Church of Country music! It was originally a tabernacle so don't be...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I've a bad back, so bad I have handicap designation. I understand I may "purchase" a pillow for the pew, but can I just bring my own?

Gosh, I really don't know the answer to your question. May I suggest calling them directly to ask?
What is the approximate length of time (on average) does it take to visit the Ryman via self-guided tour?

30 minutes is sufficient
I just went to order backstage tour tickets online and saw that there is a $4.75 service charge for each $30 ticket, which pretty much negates the $5 coupon I got by going to a show at the Grand Ole Opry last night. If I buy my tickets on site at the Ryman Auditorium, do I avoid paying this 16% service charge?
