I've been on lots of free walking tours around the world and Jim's was one of the best I've experienced. He was very knowledgeable warm and personable and clearly cared that each of his guests enjoyed both his tour and also their stay in his...More
Jim’s friendly, affable and knowledgeable walking tour of Nashville was wonderful. A native Nashvillian, Jim knows the history from his own experience, as well as from research. I’d much rather walk around an historic downtown than see it from a bus or trolley, as there...More
My husband and I took this tour, Jim was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Nashville. We learned many pre-Music City tidbits and got a fair amount of walking in. I highly recommend taking this tour and will definitely take again when...More
Jim did a great job, taking us around the city and telling us all about the history of Nashville. This trip gives you a quick summary about the city, where the good bards and restaurants are. Must do I will say.
Jim did an awesome job leading the tour. It was great to be with someone that was raised in Nashville and knew many details of the city besides "country music". He encouraged questions, and always had an answer. It was fun to walk along-side him...More
We had a great tour with Jim (the owner of this business- born and raised in Nashville). Jim guided this tour despite some light rain, personalized the route to our interests, answered our many questions, and showed us a real local's perspective of the city....More

Hi Susan, we just turned up on the morning we wanted the tour without pre-booking. If I remember correctly, Jim’s morning tour starts at 10am (from the Country Music Walk of Fame) and we arrived a little before then. Since... More
Hi Susan, we just turned up on the morning we wanted the tour without pre-booking. If I remember correctly, Jim’s morning tour starts at 10am (from the Country Music Walk of Fame) and we arrived a little before then. Since he starts the tour with a chat about what we’re going to do and a few other nuggets of information, the tour doesn’t actually move off for a while after so you shouldn’t miss him if you get there a little later.
Hope you enjoy it - we certainly did!
