Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Girls weekend . The host was lovely and very welcoming . We all tried different things . I bought a bottle of Pinot Gris local and 3 ginger ninja alcoholic ginger beer and 3 local beers . Very reasonably priced and free tasting . Definitely worth a visit and just off the main road

I had an entertaining afternoon High Tea with a group of about 18 people. Cost was only $25 and you have to prebook. While you are having the High Tea you get to try their wine and ciders.

It was as I said entertaining. Bit of Trivia, bit of piano playing, bit of drinking.

I came out with 12 bottles of sparkling red which was part of their "Today only Special".

Decor of this place was quirky.

Staff were very friendly.

Most of the High Tea was good, sandwiches, scones, little cakes.

The savoury stuff was probably overcooked, yes I was there with the other reviewer.

I would go back, it was $25 well spent for four or five hours entertainment with a good group of people.

Ciders and Wines were also good. Ginger Beer was good also.

Food prebook option, don't know about Public transport, on bus line maybe, did make coffee but maybe stick to the alcohol here and check out some of the numerous cafes and pubs in town while you are in Yea. Lots to do actually.

Would also say the staff were very good about us celebrating a friends 70th birthday and really made her feel special.

Thank You

Came for the high tea.
Savoury items overcooked. Tea and coffee not included .Having said that it was only $25. You did get cider and wine tasting .
The guy that ran the show was amusing
Don’t come to yea especially for this, but if in Yea worth a visit if you like cider

After going for a walk along the old railway line, we decided to have a look at this establishment. I really love my ginger beers, so i was excited to see they sold one call Ginger Ninga!! It was so delicious. I wish i had bought extra bottles. Will go back and stock up.

As usual we were pushing it for time and had Googled Yea Cider and wines. Sure enough they were going to be closing, just as we arrived they were going to close.
We rang ahead to see if they would still be open and when we said we would be there by 4 our amazing Host Steve ensured us that it was not a problem and he would stay upon until 5 so we could do some tasting.
Steve was fantastic. Full of knowledge about the region and what it has to offer!

These guys work hard to engage with visitors and promote local produce. The wines are great. The chocolate port it just brilliant and worth the visit on its own. Just wish they had grazing plates or cheese platters- then they’d be perfect. Definitely visit if in Yea. Beautiful heritage building makes a wonderful experience.

Entering the tasting room, we wondered if we had made a big mistake as there was nothing really inviting about the set up. However, we were greeted by Steve who had a story to go with every wine, cider and port we tasted. The experience couldn't have been better. Although we weren't too keen on the straight wines, the Chili wine (from fermented jalapenos - no grapes) was absolutely awesome. Although it sounds so hot as to be undrinkable, it was surprisingly good. We also tried the white chocolate port (which again sounds odd) but found it to taste like alcoholic chocolate. Yum!! We just loved the fact that they were trying new things - and successfully. An absolute must if visiting Yea.
