    A must drop in
A great drop in spot. The heritage listed homestead is worth walking through, particularly as you get a 4 tasting selection at the brewery on the premises after. The brewery is certainly worth a stop as they have a large variety of beers, ciders and ales to try. The restaurant serves up great meals at very reasonable prices and the meals are large. Gets quite busy at lunchtime so be aware of that.

Great experience exploring the local history
The homestead was better than I expected. I will have to delve further into the history of the Hume family's spreads. The samples had after the self guided tour were excellent. We had the pumpkin soup with warmed Sour dough bread. Perfect for lunch and reasonably priced. All in all very satisfying experience.

    Historical Homestead
Byramine Homestead and Brewery is a historical homestead built in 1842 by the famous explorer Hamilton Hume. It is classified by the National Trust 'to be preserved at all costs', because of its unique design and its local significance. My wife and I visited this place during our recent holiday in Yarrawonga, where we stayed at the Sebel Resort for three nights. We enjoyed looking at this place and learnt about its history.

    Great place for lunch.
Stunning place to visit. Fascinating old homestead with so much history. Not too far out of Yarrawonga. The food is excellent and staff just wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on a lovely summers day.

Visited for a spot of lunch and sample the beers. Lovely old homestead well worth the walk through as it has unique architecture for its time and still original. We shared the Ploughmans platter which was lovely and sampled a few beers and ciders. Had a great time and happily recommend.

Beautiful homestead. It was so interesting, we were given a large information sheet, but once inside the homestead there was wonderfully done commentary telling us the story of Elizabeth. We then had lunch in the brewery enjoying complimentary tasting (included in the extremely reasonable $7.50 per person entry to homestead ticket) the wines, beers and ports all delicious. Really lovely owner behind the bar. Very knowledgeable and added to our lovely afternoon. Then we met the lady owner who was equally delightful. Very lovley place to visit.

Called in for a beer & a ploughmans lunch, tried a couple of beers, both were good and washed down the ploughmans just right. The ploughmans to share was plentiful for the two of us. Really nice place, if in the area it is a must go.
