Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a terrific venue and great for the performer and the audience. Win-win for all to see. Comfortable seats, plenty of leg room and no matter where you sit you generally feel up close with the artist on stage.

Outside the theatre is light refreshments, comfortable waiting area and on a cold night it is warm inside. Gentle steps and wheelchair access and parking right outside.

Great acoustics and should be used more often by performers. Prefer to spend an hour or so driving to Warragul than going into the CBD where you have to battle traffic, pay enormous fees to park and other obstacles. I would not hesitate to see an artist or other attraction at this venue. It is that good particularly if you live 1-2 hours out of town. One of the best live entertainment venues in Victoria for sure.

This is a great place with very accomodating staff. Amusingly the e ticket I bought was redundant as the scanner did not work so they went by your name at the door! Ha!

The West Gippsland Art Centre (WCAC) is the jewel in the crown of Warragul. It is a wonderful centre providing the space for many local and visiting performing arts. The programme features plays, orchestras, ballets, comedians and opera as well as space for art exhibitions. Recently WGAC. featured the monodrama Swansong. It was quite brilliant and was presented in the clever “on stage” intimate space of Theatre 2, showcasing the versatility of the centre. The imposing architecture of the building sits in the beautiful Civic Park in the centre of the town. Well worth a visit...... many times!

Have recently attended to see the locally produced beauty and the beast as well as the hit “menopause the musical”. Both times impressed with the theatre. Layout was great, easy to find my seats, comfortable seating, great sound in the venue. Quality shows too!

I have heard a great deal about this art centre and never actually been to it until recently. I attended Women in Gippsland celebrating International Women's Day.

The parking area was incredibly full by the time we arrived there and we did find it a bit difficult initially to find a park.... and then, by some miracle someone moved from the front of the building. So... we got their best car park. :)

There are steps up to the building which reminds me a little of a grandiose entrance, but with recent architecture. On stepping inside... it's well appointed and quite large. The event we attended had 500 people at it and the centre catered easily for it. It's an incredible building and I hope I have the opportunity to enjoy another cultural or art event there. It's website has a comprehensive list of all the events on offer and it truly is brilliant that country people can remain in the country to see some of these events.
