Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hiking at the La La Falls at Warburton, Melbourne this morning.

The route wasn't too tough, so it was perfect for the kiddos.

It was enjoyable as the temperature was a cool 18 deg C, and the trees and forestation were amazingly tall and untouched.

Many cute pets went along and they climbed as quickly as we did.

There’s nothing easy about this walk unless you’re pretty fit! It’s uphill all the way. We didn’t reach the falls. Maybe for us as 60+ average fitness, it was too much. The walk is very pretty and there’s plenty of people around.

This is a pretty walk through the trees and ferns to the La La Falls. The path is easy to follow and not too steep with the first section being recently relaid. Walking this trail before breakfast was a good start to the day.

Easy inclined walk to the Falls, beautifully green and lush through Winter. The Falls were lovely and had plenty of water. Sounds of birds were plentiful and soothing, highly recommended for all.

Firstly, La La Falls is not well sign posted so we drove up and down the main road in Warburton until we found the little street sign. The path up is a steady uphill climb through lush forest. Once you get there, the falls are not “WOW” spectacular, but they are pretty and it’s a nice little spot to chill out for a while and take it all in. Overall, a nice one-hour walk.

Stunning bush walk alongside the river. Ferns, trees and bracken - stony crossings and well formed paths culminating in a lovely waterfall. Not an easy walk up - quite steep, tree roots and rocks but well worth it. Dog friendly made it even better for us. Note that we did see two snakes just off the path, so keep alert with your pets on a short lead.

Very impressed with this walk and waterfalls. After reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting a lot and it over delivered and was lovely. Great for a hike as not too easy but not too hard and a rewarding waterfall at the end. Highly recommend.

Short drive from Warburton to the car park, which is easy to find as well signed. The trail is a 3.2 km return walk to the falls. Sturdy footwear & a moderate level of fitness required as some slightly steep sections & exposed tree roots & rocks. Very peaceful walk & the falls are lovely especially after rain. Closest public toilets are in town.

It wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be but a nice walk on a very hot day. Wear good walking shoes as it's a fairly long walk, not suitable for elderly people, but not a hard walk.

The climb to this waterfall was steep but very picturesque, even the path itself was pretty with little stone bridges along the way. It was a hot day and we were exhausted by the time we got to the top so we sat on a rock and paddled our feet.
I recommend this walk for people who enjoy a nice walk in the bush as the waterfall is pretty but doesn't have the impact of a high drop fall. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely visit next time we are in the area.
There are no toilets and only one picnic table (in the car park) so if planning a picnic I would suggest you eat by the beautiful river in Warburton which is only 5 minutes away. I saw people with dogs on leads.
