The Official Site for Warburton Valley - The Waterwheel in the township of Warburton provides tourist information, an artists gallery, an Environment Centre and showcases locally handmade goods. The Waterwheel on the main street of Warburton is your destination for all things Warburton Valley. More than a Visitor Information Centre, The Waterwheel is home to the gorgeous Handmade shop, a hub for local wine, an Art Gallery and eco Indoor Forest. Art also elevates the surrounding parklands to visual experiences that nourish and inspire. Don't miss the Great Steps of Warburton, a community art project, the historical murals on the railway siding and totem poles. The historic Waterwheel is an icon of the towns ever-evolving story and a great place to stop by.

The steps leading to the waterwheel are perhaps more interesting than the waterwheel itself. Seriously, there's nothing wrong with it but if you made a special trip to see it I think you'd be a bit disappointed.

Wheel interesting to watch and steps lovely to climb with the inlaid mosaic patterns. Easy to find with parking close by.

Sadly, Warburton, a town that potentially has so much to offer, particularly from a historical perspective, doesn't live up to one's expectations. Whether it's due to a lack of interest by the council, locals, whatever, the bottom line is that shops are closing, there's little...More

The children love this place, colouring in to do and interactive games to play, the volunteers love to see the kids running around and playing.

The waterwheel is a very impressive sight but was unfortunately not operating. It would certainly be worth seeing when rotating.
