Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked in to the New Years lunch with a DJ to enjoy our New Year’s Day celebrations.
Called to do a cellar wine tasting first that morning and was told we didn’t need a booking for it. Arrived a bit early and staff seemed stressed. It had been raining which prevented people sitting outside. So we waited and although we did the tasting there wasn’t much enthusiasm put into it.
We went into the main area and dj was great. View was magnificent with nature sounds surrounding us. It was pretty chilled in the hall. We had a great time.
Food on the menu was about $10 more expensive than the sample menu on their website. Even the kids meals were more, a bowl of fries alone were $11 for a standard size bowl. Kids meals were $15 for a bowl of pasta and mains were $30-$37 (website sample is kids $12 and mains $20-$28)
Some other families moved outside due to broken glass on the floor- by now the weather was sunny again.
We enjoyed our drinks and meals were nice too.
Overall a relaxing day at the vineyard, just first impressions really impact your visit.

We visited St. Leonards Winery on new years day, as we have before. A great way to relax with two-piece muso's playing good songs really well. The staff were cheerful, and happy to help us set up a table in the shade on the lush green lawns and the atmosphere was unpretentious and very relaxed. Food is available and well presented, and of course, the St. Leonards wines most refreshing. For info, we learnt they have music playing one Sunday each month. Highly recommended.

This historic estate is one of the oldest wineries in Victoria, dating from the 1860s. St Leonards sits on the banks of the mighty Murray River, framed by the national park. The estate includes some historic buildings, adding charm to the estate's ambiance. The estate has been in the same family for many years. There are a number of venues for romantic weddings, from the barrell hall with the huge casks of luscious Tokays and Muscats, to on-line micro weddings that are inclusive of anyone who wants to participate.

My favourite winery, where we hosted our magical wedding. The weather was amazing, the food delicious including specially made Opera cake and the St Leonard Shiraz flowed all night! Milly and the team perfect hosts. Thank you for a memorable night.

Nothing to dislike about St Leonards - just great wines in a great setting with staff that couldn't be friendlier. Not to be missed if you're in the area!

we had a very pleasant Sunday afternoon at this winery. The staff were friendly and the outdoor area is a lush oasis. We ordered food from the cafe which was very nice, the only downside was the cost of the cheese platter - for $30 there was plenty of bread/crackers, however the amount of cheese provided was very stingy.

This was the last stop on our winery walkabout day and we saved the best til last. Lovely setting under the trees looking over the Murray river, lots of chunky wooden tables to sit at. We enjoyed sampling their wines and bought a bottle of their chardonnay to drink while listening to the lovely singing of the young lady playing that day. Lots of parking available and food to order which all looked delicious, we will come back again.

A little of the beaten track but worth it.
Nice place by the river. Wines are good.
Will have to go back sometime when they have music on.

Last stop of a magnificent wine tasting day!
Off the transport and past the vines drawn by the music to the outside sun drenched green. OK this may not be the occurrence every weekend but it was a great finish to the day.
Also there is a great wine tasting room with some special wines

Dear Wayne,
Thankyou very much for your kind review of St Leonards Vineyard. We really appreciate you taking the time to tell the readers about your experience.
We host live music by fantastic musicians on the first Saturday of every month (check our website or facebook page for details). It really is a little piece of serenity sitting on the lawn with views across the vineyards to the mighty Murray River with a glass of wine in hand.
We hope to see you again soon,
Best Wishes,
Angela, Eliza and Nick

With hundreds of wineries in the region it is hard to pick out a favourite. However, our time was made memorable by Clive from St Leonard’s due to his knowledge of the wine and fantastic personality.
