What a "gem" of a location on Tucks Road. Manton's Creek Estate is definable by its exquisite location and outstanding wines. The Restaurant is fine cuisine at a great price with exquisite views from the any angle towards the vines and gardens. The staff at the Cellar door (Cass) is outstanding with a good knowledge of wines and estate. Must visit again. Thanks

8 very dear friends completed a weekend away with a fab lunch at Manton’s Creek restaurant, “Quattro”, today. Set meal with shared plates was superb & very reasonably priced ($65pp) for such beautiful quality & presentation. Slow cooked lamb was sensational. Local Rose was spot on. Staff were also very friendly & professional. Very pretty location & a bit of a secret it would seem... highly recommend & we will definately be back... 😀👍🥂

I've been to Mantons Creek a few times over the years, the wine has always been good and it's been nice to sit on the deck with a cheese platter looking out over the vines.

Now, it's been taken over by The Epicurean Group, whose Red Hill venue we've been to and loved.

There's now a fancy looking restaurant which is on our list to come back to, and the cellar door has been moved around the side.

The wines are all still great, particularly the sparklings, and Elizabeth who was serving us was a great laugh.

Looking forward to coming back and staying overnight when we need a night away.

Went to a private evening function here last week.
Firstly, there is no external lighting so walking in in inky blackness was challenging. The pizza entree was good but fell everywhere when trying to eat it standing up. It was the mains that were inedible. Sloppy ????risotto (I think) and then some duck affair mixed with wet, mushy pasta that told me the poor animal had died in vain. There was also a turbot that stunk the place out and a bowl of wet, oily lettuce.
No dessert, a chunk of cheese and something that tasted like molasses but was informed it was ‘truffle honey’. Poor bloody bees, as a bee keeper, me thinks these dudes suffered to.
If that wasn’t enough, if you are on Jenny Craig then this is the place for you. Portion sizes, and the inedible nature of the food, left everyone very hangry. Little wonder the poor quality wine went down easy. As designated driver though, I had to suffer this culinary fiasco sober.
As an aside, and perhaps grant some context to the legitimacy of this post, we are local. Always eat local. Been to just about every local restaurant. Love where we live. This just made me sad.
Socks up Mantons Creek. You are letting the side down.

It is picturesque overlooking the vineyards particularly if you have an outside table on a sunny day. The food is tasty and well presented and quite good value for money. Service has improved from earlier visits . If you are looking for a quiet out of the way place on the Mornington Peninsula this a good one.

We had such a lovely time! Everyone is very warm and personable. The selection of wines is amazing. You should get the platter box with the wine!

This review is on the accomodation ( pinot room ) at Manton's Creek Estate. It does not include or reflect the standards of the restaurant, as we did not dine there ( we dined at Max's up the road )
My wife and I booked 2 nights at Mantons Creek in the Pinot room, to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. We paid approximately $393.00 per night for the room.
Firstly, I must say that the location was stunning, a beautiful vineyard located amongst native woodland in a peaceful and idyllic location. From the outside the restaurant and facilities looked high spec, well appointed cellar door, restaurant with terrace outdoor dining looking over the well maintained vineyard.Everything changed though as soon as we entered the door of the Pinot room.

First impressions of walking into the room were spacious with a wonderful view over the vineyard. However the longer we spent in the room, the more we realised that we had paid well over the reasonable rate for a room of this standard. We rarely complain about accommodation, in fact this is only the second time I have ever felt compelled to write a review. Here is the list of defects at the Pinot Room at Mantons Creek Estate:

1) Room was advertised with a King bed. In fact the bed was two mattresses pushed together, leaving a gap running down the middle of the bed.
2) There was no quilt cover, just two sheets on either side of the quilt - not very hygienic!
3)The room was dusty, windows were dirty, cobwebs in bathroom.Ground in dirt in the balcony door sills.
4) bathroom ceiling was grubby, actually dirty and there were drill holes left in the wall !
5) Shower door was broken - noticeable split in the bottom of the door that had not been repaired.
6) Room was unfinished, picture hook on the wall, but no picture ! lol
7) Multiple marks on the walls, paint broken, dirty and dust on skirting boards - it needed a fresh coat of paint.
8) The chairs and table on the balcony were covered in bird poo - obviously had not been cleaned.
9) Room was freezing when we arrived, no thought around this from staff - very unwelcoming!
10) No welcome pack - no complimentary wine, and not even a complimentary biscuit for our $390.00 a night.
11) Breakfast was left at our door after we had already left for the day ( after 9.00am ) - a couple of croissants and cronuts - however my wife is gluten intolerant, so breakfast was only good for a door stop!
12) The place just looked unfinished, no sofa to watch a film from, no rug on the floor, cheap rustic looking furniture that didn't match - just no style at all - looked like they furnished the room from the local op shop.
13) No fresh towels, or bathrobes, or even bath slippers for the money!
14) No outdoor lighting - when we returned from Max's restaurant later on first night, it was difficult to see how to walk out of the carpark at Mantons Creek to our room - some navigation lights on the path will fix this issue, or someone at some point will fall over and sue you. ( staff member came out with Mobile phone torch light, which helped to some degree )
15) Electrical cables exposed, and visible in the room.
16) Electrical items, such as hairdryer not tagged and tested. ( POT testing should be done )
17) Limited crockery, we had very small tea cups, but mugs would have been nice.
18) No biscuits
19) No-one checked in to see how we were, if we needed anything, literally nobody around on the second day/evening, or even when we checked out.
20) No sign of the goat - the website says there is a goat and a donkey!

Summary...I have read good reviews of the restaurant, and as mentioned at the start of this review, the location is stunning, however I will never spend my money on accomodation at Mantons Creek Estate again, or spend my money at any of the associated businesses of the group.I feel like I've been taken for a ride ( and not on a donkey! ) Our wedding anniversary was special, but the accomodation at Mantons Creek Estate let us down, and a bad experience has ripple effects, hence this review - think twice before staying here!

My wife and I stayed two nights midweek and enjoyed the high standard of the accommodation, the croissants, museli, netspresso, etc. Glorious view of vineyard from our balcony room with rambunctious rabbits entertaining us.

Love this place. It's not too busy, and superb setting. Just beautiful. The wines are beautiful and the salt and pepper calamari was fantastic. It's not huge like some of the other wineries, with great service.
