Nice day out

Had high expectations based on the photographs on their website. The maze is so narrow its claustrophobic- nothing like the sprawling mazes in England, it was barely a foot and a half wide! The rose maze was very basic as was everything else. The lavender garden was small and unimpressive... I've visited many beautiful botanic sites in Victoria including the... More

The 2 hedge mazes were great fun to navigate around, but a little narrow in parts, especially if someone is coming the other way. We had a light lunch in the kiosk which was good value (the burger was basic, but really good and tasty). Away from the main attraction of the maze, the gardens need a little love, but... More

2 adults and 1 child was $47 entry - a little more than expected when we were stopping as an unexpected day trip. There are 2 hedge mazes which are well maintained however paths can get a little narrow if you are a larger adult. Rose maze was very pretty, take a camera! We skipped the lavender maze opting just... More

This garden is well maintained and we had fun time in the mazes. Unfortunately we went on the coldest day of February and it had a few showers on and off when we were there. The lavender garden was smaller than I expected, but again, it would have looked much nicer in the sun. In the end we took refugee... More

This is an excellent out door activity, which included visiting the four, on site, mazes as well as some other significant garden features such as ponds, rocks and an abundance of flowers. The roses and lavenders are a particular feature of the site. The cafe and reception staff were pleasant and welcoming supporting well a half day spent in very... More

This maze is well maintained and has 25 acres of gardens surrounding it. We found it fun for the kids ( aged 4 & 5). It has a rose maze as well other walks and places of interest. You cannot picnic here but there is a cafe within the gardens.

Amazing place, entry is reasonable, heaps of on site parking. Cafe is very reasonably priced and staff at the entrance and at the cafe are very friendly. The grounds are just gorgeous and the mazes are so much fun. We all had a ball!!!! 😀

People tend to live the fast lane life with the fast thrill. This place is to calm down and enjoy peace and quietness. All the other mazes I have known for a decade on the Peninsula have changed into entertainment castles reflected in an entrance fee, that no middle class family can just afford more often than once. I highly... More

Having a lovely time enjoying the maze and gardens. Decided to sit outside and have lunch at the cafeteria and enjoy the gardens and lovely weather. Fortunately we had not ordered as our enjoyable day was spoilt buy a group that arrived and decided to light up and smoke cigars! We left as the smell was disgusting? I thought you... More

The gardens are lovely, but I was a little underwhelmed by the 2 main mazes. The inside of the hedge maze has seen better days, and they aren't lush like we expected. The paths are quite small, and adults are often brushing up against the twigs, which was uncomfortable. The rose maze and the lavender maze are both pleasant places... More
