Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went here to explore this lovely beach on a cold autumn morning. Was really nice and some good rock formations and pools to walk around and take photos. A must check out beach if on the island or in San Remo.

Bore Beach is on the end of Potters Hill Rd, Car park is good and it's a short walk to the stairway down to the beach. The beach faces South and is formed as a small bay.
Great views over Bass Straight, its clean and too the west there are some rocky areas to explore. A good place for some fishing or relaxing. There are no toilets in the area.

At the end of a busy few days I needed just to get back to nature... when I first pulled up I was a bit taken aback.. It's NOT an easily accessible beach and according to the warnings... it's not somewhere you are going to take the family.

BUT what it is... is truly stunning. There are a few stairs to traverse to get to/ from the beach ...but sometimes in life... things are just not meant to be easy.

The views from the top are stunning...but as you slowly go down the stairs your views alter... the light alters and every picture you take is unique and reflects your stunning view. At the bottom there is an area with rock pools and beautiful rocks that reflect their relationship with the sea. The water was ever so cold on a late afternoon Winter's day... but it just adds to that raw experience.

I LOVED this beach... it's stunning, it's serene, it 'grounds' you.

Listed as Bore Beach on google maps but the signs at beach say Back Beach (Potters Hill Rd).. You drive down a dirt road to end of car park. After a walk down track and stairs you come to amazing secluded beach. great views from car park if you don’t want to walk down.. very treacherous beach so take care
