We LOVE to attend Warrabilla Wines when attending the Tastes of Rutherglen event. Andrew makes some fabulous Durif, and Cab. Sav. The Penola wines are my favourite. We have enjoyed seeing this lovely family expand their winery over the years and so pleased they have received many accolades for their wines. A must visit when in the area!!

I have not been for a while but just recently opened a bottle of 2005 Parolas limited release Cab Sav. Closest description would be liquid heaven. I have never had a bad wine from there, so if you're in the neighbourhood pay them a visit, and if you're not, figure out a way to get there.

We visited this winery with the specific purpose of stocking up on its solid red wines and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and generous. We went away with our purchases of wines for our future enjoyment.

Called in early in the day and were greeted by friendly and informative staff. A little out of the way but gaining a reputation for nice wines. A recommended winery

Just outside of Rutherglen, this Winery has an outstanding selection of heavy red wines which are my favourite. They rank with Rusden in the Barossa, with most in the 16%+ range. Worth a trip, worth a taste, worth annual membership!

Taste of Rutherglen weekend and stopped in here for a tasting. Location is a little further out of Rutherglen (@ 10 mins), but the range of wines to experience was brilliant. Some high proof Shiraz and Durif wines here that are a little unique for the region as far as I am aware, and they are absolutely brilliant. Site was... More

Fantastic wines, super-generous tasting selection and some great staff. The winemakers are such lovely people, just extremely knowledgable without any pretentious attitude winey nonsense. In fact the whole Rutherglen area has this fantastic laid back attitude towards their fabulous wine selections. Bear is a real character. Great wine in a great atmosphere.
