Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unless it’s high tide it is usually very shallow, and safe for kids- with supervision. Most of the time clean water and quite warm. In some places crowded, but the beach stretches for a long way, and can usually find a nice spot. Good wildlife with swans and pelicans visiting regularly.

Excellent Beach especially for little kids as it doesnt get deep quickly so they can play in the shallows for hours
Very safe with no swell or rips good for the whole family.
Reddy walking access to food and drinks and clean white sands, can become a bit crowded during peak times but you will always find a spot to enjoy.
A must do as the weather improves

Great weekend away for grandparents, kids and grand kids. Very reasonably priced Stayz accommodation for us all only a five minute walk from the beach and foreshore. The very clear trail along the foreshore was great for us to run and walk while the grand kids rode their bikes. Easy to go several kilometers in each direction. COVID-19 safe, enjoy!

I have been coming to the rosebud beaches since my kids were very little (25yrs ago). I camped on the fore shore and didn’t need to worry about the kids there because the water is akways so shallow. Shops everywhere, kids everywhere, great times, now I take my fur baby down here and walk the beach. It’s always clean

Perfect beach for families, shallow waters, clean, clear so you can see underneath and beautiful clean white sand which makes it such a lovely beach to enjoy for all.

One of the nice beaches we visited. Nice yellow white sand. Not very crowded when we visited except a few black swans. Some joker had parked his car right behind our car but we managed to get out somehow.

This afternoon I had a lovely long walk along the beach.
It was very calm and the water was crystal clear, only met three other people, it was nearly like being on a deserted island, soo peaceful.
The sun was glistening on the water and the view out to sea was as clear as a bell.
It was great to take in the bathing boxes that dot the area, they are soo unique and colourful, they all look well maintained by their owners, some are very artistic.
Great place to walk ,really enjoyable , in a few weeks time summer will be here and then it will be a hive of activity, I hope they all enjoy themselves and look after the place .

Some may argue that Rosebud Beach is a great beach for families and it is popular for families and campers in summer but viewed strictly as a beach for its quality and beauty it really is not that special. The sand is white which is a positive and gently sloping and one assumes safer for families than many but it is untidy with weeds and grassed areas and little formal development. The grassed area behind the beach is just OK and not at all developed or well presented. It could be made so much better.

Mid Sunday afternoon at Rosebud Beach was perfect whilst the sun was out
Our little fella had a great splash in the clear, warm, shallow waters
The wind suddenly picked up, which was a bit unpleasant, but we had a great few hours to enjoy this great spot by the pier
