Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had no idea this place was here, but it was raining and we needed something to do. How wonderful to find this fascinating little treasure trove, with it's mix of artifacts, costumes and all manner of things. We loved the old photos, films and newsreels, and could happily have spent the whole afternoon here!

Anyone who is at all interested in learning something of the history of Queenscliff and the surrounding areas (and there is plenty of history here), is bound to find plenty to interest them. The Museum creates a fine atmosphere for the displays, which change regularly, and are impressive in their range and diversity. The volunteers obviously spend much time and care on researching donated items and are to be congratulated. It's an excellent way to spend an hour of two, browsing through the collection of strange, beautiful or wonderful objects. Staff on duty are happy to provide information and there is an interesting video to watch.

I had some family history research to do and spread it over 2 half days. Research staff were extremely helpful and gave me lots of assistance and suggestions for further research leads. Also did the museum display and tapestry exhibit which were all very interesting. Some of the artefacts about the area are fascinating.

Over the years, we have visited the Queenscliff Museum, as it's a great way for children and adults to learn about the people, times, issues, struggles and joys of a popular tourist destination. With so much history surrounding the visitor to Queenscliff (architecture), it's important to learn of why, how, where and who created this place. You then have a much greater appreciation of times and people past, and how we can best enjoy and preserve the important elements for generations to come.

Maybe small and stuffy as the previous reviewer said but given there is so much history to Queenscliff, this is a good place to learn some of its past.
Well worth a little time.
