Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Manns Beach is a tiny settlement not far from Port Albert/Yarram/Alberton. The road out there is sealed all the way and when you get there you'll find ... not a lot! There is no store, no petrol, not even much of a beach unless you count the tidal flats. Which would at least be a good spot for bird watching etc. There is a small playground, a shelter, toilets and a short wharf where you could try your luck fishing.

Outside of that unless you had your own small boat there isn't much to do apart from turn around and drive back.

As we had a bit of time in hand, we decided to explore Port Albert's environs and we headed out Manns Beach Road. We were grateful that we did. It is a tranquil and quite beautiful place. It was absolutely deserted on a cool early November afternoon with nothing but the sound of wavelets and bird calls. Lovely spot.

Very quiet little spot that would be good for fishing. Apart from a childrens playground, really just bird watching on the tidal flats.

Lovely peaceful fishing village setting with public facilities. You can sit at the end of the jetty and watch the fishermen come in. There are fish cleaning facilities if you do catch something while you are there.

Mann's Beach is secluded, peaceful... there is lots of parking because I assume in season that THIS would be a perfect location to go out fishing. There is a children's playground which is well appointed and there are public toilets that are kept very clean.

You might have to be into fishing and boating to appreciate what this town has to offer.
