Such a lovely spot. Got the light house. Rock pools. Toilets. Playground. And across the road a few little shops. Also has a surf beach on the other side. Personally i love the pier. Great spot for awesome photography too.

Visited on Monday 19th February. This is a great beach close to the main street of Point Lonsdale with plenty of parking and safe for swimming. We enjoyed walking along the beach jumping the waves as they rolled in.

Front beach at Lonny has been the holiday centrepiece for generations of young kids. Plenty of sand, tiny waves and plenty of interesting rock pools.

Fabulous beach to explore with kids, rock pools and an arch to climb through. Also handy for a walk along the pier. We spotted a banjo shark amongst the coral. Great scenery for photographs

There are many places to snorkel around Melbourne but few are as good as Point Lonsdale. At low tide the main rock pool is visible and offers a wide variety of safe, nooks and crannies to swim around exploring. Very safe and suitable for children...More
