We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It has been years since I had visited Ouyen and was surprised how neat and tidy the place was as this had not been my recollection of the town. The park was a pleasant space and well done.

I love these community areas in the mallee area... they are just a great concept for travellers. This one has a huge undercover BBQ area with power. There are toilet facilities , parking areas and a delightful mural depicting pioneering scenes.

It's walking distance to everything in the Main Street in case you need to stock up for a trip. I would most highly recommend this as a great place to make a stop on a trip.

My favourite bit of the mural was how they remembered a local who is 104 and known as Ouyen's most loved resident... known for her caring compassion and cooking.

In the middle of the cafe/business precinct.
The town bus terminal & Council by the wishing well, with public toilets at rear.
You nearly walk past it then look back into the depth of the art.
History in depth picture form.
Pleasant & informative to step back & slowly search through.

Even though it was 49 degrees on the day we visited, we still took in this wonderful mural and the surrounding park. The shade in the shelter was very welcome on this day - a great resource for travelers and locals alike.

In the main street of Ouyen we found the mural in the Community Park. It was fabulous. So much of the history of the area included.

We were travelling with our caravan through Western Victoria. It is always difficult to find drinking water to top up the tank.
As we drove into Ouyen there was a sign stating that it was an RV friendly town. The community park was lovely with a bbq area, big undercover area and above all fresh drinking water.

Passing thru Ouyen we stopped in the town Centre. Alongside the iconic Roxy theater we found the community park for travelers. Big undercover area with BBQ, tables and seating. Down a short walk way was the apparently newly built toilet block. This was in heritage corrugated iron as was the sheltered area as mentioned. Everything was very clean and lots of parking out back for big vans, etc.
There is a mural on the brick wall showing farming days and history painted by a local artist.
As you approach Ouyen from the south There is a caravan park and alongside a power nap area for travelers. This also has a good modern playground and oval.
There is also on the Adelaide road in Ouyen itself, plenty of tables and seating on the lush green grass to stop and revive. Ouyen has a well stock IGA store, there's good bakery opp the community park and if needed a police Stn.
Ouyen is a beaut spot to stop and refresh for all the family.
