A cold climate garden brimming with design ideas and full of wonderful plants and artworks. I have been many times now and everytime there is something new, I can't get enough of it.

The garden is a jewel. One seldom sees a private historic garden which has been maintained so well. I suppose because there is no house to maintain so the resources are all in garden´s disposal. The gardens seem to have been larger than it is...More

Well worth the $10 each entry, its so beautiful. You could easily spend over an hour wandering around these gardens, they were much better than I expected them to be.

Lovely manicured gardens and also more wild gardens. Surprises around the corners. Steep walks down into the forest with lots of paths and levels. Overall, worth the $10 entry fee to visit the beautiful manicured gardens in this place, despite the fact that there are...More

I have been coming here for years, and never cease to be amazed. The 'garden rooms,' with the colour-coding of plants into oranges, pinks, red, yellows, mauves and blues and whatever-have-you, are an absolute delight, and probably best seen in summer and autumn. The beech...More

Stunning garden full of color, variety of plants, light, semi rainforest atmosphere, views to the mountains and sculptures. Take about 1.5 hours to stroll in the gardens through the multiple "sections" that are full of various plantings, sculptures and with walks into the forest. Large...More

We enjoyed the gardens but thought that some of the gardens run by Parks Victoria were better and were free. Staff in gardens and shop very nice but would not go back to seasons restaurant

I am not sure ... although, I doubt it! I certainly have never seen people bring their dogs to this restaurant/café.

I live at the foot of the mountain and cannot think of a caravan park that would suit, although many B&Bs in close proximity at various prices. Mt Dandenong is best suited to day tripping and Cloudehill is great for lunch... More
