This was an excellant choice for a fishing trip for every reason;
Great people to deal with, Sandra really helpful, Stuart a great guy who knows fishing, great boat, great burger bbq, Kate was a superb deckhand and so helpful, the fishing was great, great atmosphere on the boat, plenty of space, good advice, value for money etc. I would highly recommend.

Well exceeded tvmy expectations by a mile.
The crew were so helpful and had a few laughs as well which was great.
I could not recommend the enough, lunch provided, pretty decent fishing training, hands on deck learning, caught more fish then I though I would saw dolphins and feel so welcomed and warmed with apart of the cabin crew.
Special thank you to fiona, you were a zippy little deck hand helping everyone out and having to put up with is was hard enough.
I apologise for wring my caught fish over yoi while eating your Lunch 😬
Brilliant family company that needs more exposure, do your self a favour and book this trip. It will not disappoint..

29/10/15. Had an awesome day onboard the super stable Plover with Stuart and Jess.
I'm telling you right now, don't look elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and get on board and catch yourself a mountain of fish.
We had the best time and are planning on getting back out there. One of the best days fishing I've ever had

My husband, son and grandson went fishing today with this company today and had a marvelous day. It was a sunny warm day and the fish were biting. This was a present for my grandson for Christmas - it took a while for us to set it up as he leads a busy life,
The crew were very attentive and helpful and provided a delicious lunch.
Highly recommended.

“Bay Fish & Trips”,exceptional, well organised, professional & human relations minded for comfort & enjoyment for passengers...With an extra touch, not always offered in business today, for example, a personnel hand towel for that unwanted bait residue, a bucket of fresh Port Phillip Bay salted liquor to refresh the hands,friendly group chat to ease one into the day’s adventure, explanation of the dos & don’ts, with the emphasis on fish humane treatment & environment in mind, all this even before the excitement of the catch... During the voyage a culinary delight to appease the appetite..
A memorable occasion for us all, you are a credit to the sea going Charters...

As much as I am not a morning person, I often make my way down to the Mornington Pier for a 630am boarding to Plover. This is a comfortable, stable boat with a very able and fun crew. The skipper Stu and lead hand Jess head up a great team of professionals. You feel safe during the trip and are well cared for.
Haven't fished before? No worries, they'll get you up and running. You'll be baiting your own hooks and taking fish off your own hooks in no time. You should see the grins on the faces of young and old who land their first fish.
An old hand at fishing? You'll appreciate the top gear and premium bait available.
Now when you're thirsty there is a cuppa to be had or fine drinking water, and when you realize you've had too much to drink you'll be grateful for the loo on board.
I always find that the hours out in the fresh air can make me hungry. The crew does not disappoint as they fire up the BBQ and provide a number of choices for your lunch (pre-select when you book).
This is great value for money. You get to spend hours out on the water. Perhaps see the dolphins and the cormorants. It's always a great day fishing and you might even bring home a bag of "keepers" for your dinner.

We had a great afternoon fishing on the plover, there were lots of fun people on our trip and we caught plenty, including flathead, mackerell, yellow tail and snapper.
Stuart and Sandra were lovely and very helpful, but special thanks goes to Jess for her expert help.
We will definitely come again when we are back in Mornington!

Let me start by saying that this charter is so amazing that even Hugh Jackman decided to spend a day on board. It was my birthday and my brother booked Bay Fish N Trips for a good day out. We ended up fishing for the whole day with one of Hollywood's royals!
The next trip we had an awesome tv crew on board catching all the action on film. We've now had countless trips with Bay Fish N Trips and they are still our number one preferred charter service.
Hats off to Stuart, Sandra and Jess for making each and every trip enjoyable. No other charter service is as personable as this crew, who are amazingly helpful on board for new and experienced fisho's alike.
Bay Fish N Trips are the most family friendly charter, comfortably seating over 20 people and you don't feel squished or feel like you're fighting for a spot to fish. Their vessel is huge and is very friendly for those who get sea sick.
On top of all this, they charge much less than any other charters I've been on. Happy customer? Oh yes.

09/11/15: Yesterday morning my grandson and I went out on the MV Plover with our hosts for a 5hr Fishing N Trip,
TEAM Leader Sandy, Skipper and Chef Stuart and Do Everything Else Jessie they all made everyone on board extremely welcome with there tips and helpful advise throughout the trip. RATING this 11 out of 10
