The whole experience from booking, to leaving the Dock at Mornington and travelling on the water to scatter my parents ashes, went so smoothly. Stewart and Sandy were kind and caring, guiding and supporting our family on The Plover to say our farewells.

Well exceeded tvmy expectations by a mile.
The crew were so helpful and had a few laughs as well which was great.
I could not recommend the enough, lunch provided, pretty decent fishing training, hands on deck learning, caught more fish then I though I would saw dolphins and feel so welcomed and warmed with apart of the cabin crew.
Special thank you to fiona, you were a zippy little deck hand helping everyone out and having to put up with is was hard enough.
I apologise for wring my caught fish over yoi while eating your Lunch 😬
Brilliant family company that needs more exposure, do your self a favour and book this trip. It will not disappoint..

The crew are absolutely amazing
If you want a great experience for your family, this is the place to go.

This was an excellant choice for a fishing trip for every reason;
Great people to deal with, Sandra really helpful, Stuart a great guy who knows fishing, great boat, great burger bbq, Kate was a superb deckhand and so helpful, the fishing was great, great atmosphere on the boat, plenty of space, good advice, value for money etc. I would highly recommend.

Had a great afternoon fishing on this delightful boat with fantastic staff. Lots of fish caught. Everyone on board enjoyed the fishing along with some well prepared food. Would recommend this to anyone who likes fishing.

Cannot recommend this fishing charter highly enough!
I have been on various fishing charters in multiple locations at different price points, but this one has topped them all. It was by far the most relaxing and enjoyable fishing trip I have been on.
MB Plover is full of character, she is well maintenanced and operated by an experienced and approachable crew who did everything they could to put us on fish and make sure that we would enjoy the trip. Good fishing gear on board and a wide range of bait on offer. The boat was very stable and spacious, once guests spread out dropping their lines, there was more than enough space for everyone.
The day's catch was pretty good, I ended up with four keeper flatties and a gummy shark, and that was after throwing back about twenty other smaller flatties and pinkies. Other guests also did pretty well, no one went home empty-handed.
There were some quieter moments during the trip, but such is fishing. Skipper Stuart constantly kept an eye on the quality and quantity of the catch and actively moved the boat to new spots whenever it got quiet. Deckie Yolanda was attentive and quick to help guests when required, her advice on bait choice was also spot on! Sandra also did a great job answering my questions, helping me with my booking and offering useful advice re directions and parking.
Will I return? Absolutely, and weather permitting!

Fantastic day out with the Plover crew. Recently hooked into fishing and finally persuaded my partner to go out for fishing. Sandra gave us the information about the species we targeting and great advice about the parking. Stuart is very professional and tried different places to make sure everyone get their own fish. Also nice talking with Yolanda, the conversation is informative and educative. I learned a lot about the rigging, selecting the hook and the opportunity to flick your rod. I also brought one rod on board with lure set up but barely use it, I was kept occupied with the bites. Everyone got a lot of fish, pinkies, flatties, yakkas,leather jackets and some of them are good size keeper. And boom, my girlfriend caught a 7 gill shark which really made our day. For that moment I know she hooked to fishing as well. Thanks for the recipe provided by the team, our catches later turned into a good dinner. Will definitely come back in a month or two.

Looking for a family friendly charter and that is exactly what I found. My three boys and I, as well as all the other clients, were treated so wonderfully. All the way from enquiry to getting there, to our trip out, food and coffee, just so warm and friendly. Oh and we caught fish! Had an awesome time and will definitely be going out again. Can't speak highly enough of the crew and Captain. Beautiful boat. Yeah, memories made.
