We have been to the Wood Park Wines cellar door 8 - 10 times now and have enjoyed it each time. Whether it has been Stephen in the past serving us or as it was again this year Sharon, we always have an enjoyable time. We were there as per usual in late December. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the wines are great. The only problem if you can call it that is that we always seem to leave buying more wines than we intended! The Tuscan was a highlight as was the rare still prosecco. We love the place and will be back!

This cellar door is next to the cheese factory as you first come into Milawa.
Staff are very friendly & the tastings are generous. Wine is of a very good quality & excellent value for money.
We purchased some bottles to take with us to enjoy on the rest of our holiday.

We visited here on a Friday afternoon and had a great experience. So many of the wines we sampled were appealing and we had to restrain ourselves from buying more than we did. Great setting and a very professional yet genuinely friendly staff member who clearly knew her product. Would happily recommend and will certainly return the next time we visit this beautiful part of Victoria!

I was there over the Easter break in the Milawa region. As the wine tasting was free there appeared to be a pressure to buy from the staff serving at the counter and possibly less friendly than the ones I visited later. I tried only four wines as there were only a handful that fell into the category that I wanted white (Riesling to Chardonnay) and reds (Pinot Noir to Shiraz). I finally bought a clean skin white and 2016 Tuscan. Being in a commercial operated area of Milawa, one can appreciate the cost of operation requires sale. I would say that the wines are priced lower than the price in Melbourne wine shop and taste good.

Friendly staff provided an informed tasting. The best quaffer around. Could get the 2 doz bottles on the back of the tandem. Julie did a personal delivery to our camp. Don’t go past it.

Being next door at the cheese factory and didn't like that, we thought we would grab a bottle of wine or two to take home. When we walked in the gentleman behind the bar didn't even acknowledge us. I understand he was with other customers but just an acknowledgement would have been nice. We stood for what appeared to be ages and then left. We had picked a bottle of wine to purchase he could not even excuse himself from these customers for a couple of minutes to help us. So we returned the bottle to the shelf thought the whole experience was pathetic and left. Unfortunately we could not support local business which is what we would have loved to do.

This winery is a must visit. Really enjoyed the sparkling wines. The staff were extremely helpful and engaging. We purchased the Tempranillo $18 and sparking Shiraz $30.

The warm welcome when you arrive at Wood Park would be reason enough to visit this cellar door adjacent to the Milawa Cheese Company, but when you taste the wine you realise it should be at the top of any wine tasting itinerary.
I phoned ahead so that the winery was expecting our group of 16 excitable dragon boating wine buffs. The cheerful response I received from Sharon, the cellar door host, was that although she was working solo she was a 'super woman' and could handle us. Well Sharon certainly lived up to her claim keeping us entertained with her light hearted banter whilst pouring wine and informing us about Wood Park's exceptional wines.
Whilst the quality of wines across all categories was high the stand-outs for us were the Tempranillo and the outrageously good Zinfandel. All grapes are grown and sourced locally which adds to the allure of this boutique winery.
Would highly recommend Wood Park.

This cellar door for Wood Park Wines is in the Milawa Cheese complex and is well worth a visit when in the area. Great selection of both local reds and whites with tastings available.

This is a great little cellar door and tucked just around the corner from Milawa cheese so make sure you tick both off your list!! If you means your way left along the building from the entry to Milawa Cheese, you’ll see it just around the corner.
The lady who served us was very friendly and happily shared information and stories about Wood Park wines.
She was also happy to serve other customers as they cane in and made every person feel very welcome.
I really liked their Prosecco, still Prosecco, their French style Rose and their older Shiraz and Merlot. Very good cellar door prices.
