Brown Brothers Milawa Cellar Door is the nerve centre of new ideas and experimentation within Brown Brothers winery and is the perfect environment for tasting new varieties and wine styles.

We grow many varieties of grapes and have an experimental research winery, the Kindergarten, where we produce wines of high quality, but in quantities too small to make available for general release. These are released under the Cellar Door label and are available nowhere else. The range includes limited releases of new varietals, experimental batches and aged wines.

Adjacent to the Cellar Door at Milawa, Patricia's Table is a restaurant where you can enjoy a la carte dishes created with local produce to complement Brown Brothers wines. The restaurant has been awarded one star in the Australian Gourmet Traveller 2013 Restaurant Awards and rated 14.5 Out of 20 by The Age Good Food Guide 2013. We also have a relaxed food and wine venue This relaxed environment also provides a space where visitors can spend few hours grazing the menu and working through wine flights and back-vintage tastings.

I've done a lot of cellar door visits over the years, but this was the best by far. The wine was obviously delicious, the venue was relaxing, and the staff were incredibly attentive (but not in a rushing or pushing way). Worth a day trip visit!

We enjoyed our stop here on our self guided wine tasting tour. There are a large variety of wines available for tasting. Staff were friendly. There was plenty of space outside for the kids and drivers to play and relax.

This is one of the best Vine yards to visit. Its so amazing. Loved the wines I tasted. You want service you got it here. Fantastic restaurant for the big to the small meal. I loved sitting under the lovely big trees on a bean bag sipping persecco and having tapas.

The two course lunch with matching wines was absolutely fantastic. The tasting of about 10 wines is a bit ambiguous. The explanations are very knowledgeable, but the speed of the tasting just doesn't feel right. An additional 10 minutes would have made a world of difference.

Dropped in here with our interstate visitors after having a "not so good experience at another winery". What a lovely relaxing place, the lady in the tasting room could not have been more helpful & we tasted a few wines which were great. You do not feel pressured to purchase anything however when you taste the superb wines you DO... More

We'd booked Brown Brothers for lunch after attending a beautiful wedding there a few months ago - we'd been on a trip through central Vic and this was a last stop in our mini holiday. I had been REALLY looking forward to the booking as the food at the wedding was spectacular. Patricia's Table was, without a doubt, the jewel... More

We went here for a lunch date and it was so beautiful! The setting was outstanding; as was the service. We attended Patricia's Table and it was worth every cent. The service, food and drinks were all outstanding. It was also quite reasonably priced for two course and paired wine! Simply divine!!

Really lovely winery. Lovw the grassed area and alfresco dining, great service at cellar door. A playground for kids or a game of outdoor chess if you like.

Have previously dined in Patricia's restaurant and loved it but we were only passing through today so had a quick lunch from Epi Curious and was equally impressed! The Jerk Chicken and Cous Cous salad was amazing and who knew chips and aioli could taste so good! Quick glass of Zibbibo out in the lovely gardens and a visit to... More
