Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I walked along the full length of this Boardwalk to Chinaman's Creek, crossed the road to walk up a hill to Cantrill's Lookout to enjoy the scenery and take a few photographs.

Then, we walked back to the town centre and walked to the end of the road at Shaving Point Reserve. After that, we walked to the local park, called Patterson Park.

This is probably the longest Boardwalk that we have walked on. It is excellent.

After a long drive from Melbourne, this was the perfect walk to stretch the legs and relax. A must for boat lovers.

A lovely place to stroll and enjoy the sights of Bancroft bay, boats etc. and if your lucky you may spot pods of dolphins playing in the water. From Chinamans creek to the village of Metung is approximately 3 Kim’s of fairly flat walking with car parking along the road so you can walk as little or as far as you like. When you reach the village if you carry on walking through another walk can be enjoyed to Shaving point boat ramp along a wide foot path and boardwalk along side Lake King which is probably about 1.5 Kim’s one way as you have to retrace your steps back to the village to enjoy your refreshments.

This boardwalk made for a beautiful and easy walk in to Metung from our hire boat from Riviera Nautic at Chinaman's Creek.

Just spent five nights in Metung. What a beautiful peaceful little town. We were fortunate enough to be staying directly opposite the boardwalk at McMillans of Metung Coastal Resort. What a great way to start the morning with a walk along this picturesque path way into town with views across Bancroft Bay. We loved it.

We drove down to Meetung on a crisp sunny afternoon and strolled the boardwalk. Feeding the swan was about the most exciting activity to be had. The local park was nice with the flag half mast for Prince Phillip.
The accomodation looked pricey and the clientele a little less than diverse.
If you owned a boat on a nice day no worries but if not - head to Mallacoota or Merimbula

In blustery weather conditions we walked part of the way along the boardwalk. It was an easy walk and we met very friendly people and some beautiful dogs.

The boardwalk was ideal for a stroll or more energetic walk. Nice water views all the way along. Not many people about. Perhaps busier at the weekends.
