Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent Variety of Lollies and local goods. Most lollies are not locally made which was what I thought would be the case but it was worth a visit all the same. The also have milkshakes and coffees.

My children loved it and it was like they were in lolly paradise. They had everything from fudge to push pops. Need I say more?

Had to try the licorice ice cream when we saw the sign. Absolutely delicious. Even went back the next day for another licorice ice cream.

If you are my age( over 60), you will remember the tastes of your childhood. Umbrella lollipops,
spearmint leaves, black cats, humbug, bananas, all those lollies that we used to buy as mixed bag of lollies. The store is so inviting and appealing. Go on. Have some fun.
For the more mature palate there are also fabulous products out the back section.

This lolly shop has many sweets available that I remember from my childhood and not readily available elsewhere. Not only do they sell sweets but jams olive oils and various other locally made groceries.

Great to support locally made products.

This store is located downhill in Murchison Street and not far from The Duck Inn Pub.

We bought various items from this store and enjoyed our browsing time here.

The kids loved it and I found lollies I forgot about from my childhood!

It's a costly trip but the lollies are worth it.

We had a lovely talk to the owner about our previous visits to Marysville. This had been a popular destination for us for a long time, we have probably stayed here about ten times in the past and the last time we had visited was just after the 2009 fires. At that time the lolly shop was being run from a shipping container and now is in a very new building. We caught up on the progress from the last time we were here where we sat out on the deck of the bakery and we were overlooking all the new building happening. I think it is worthwhile having this information so that we can understand how this beautiful area has had to fight back. Lolly shops are not what they used to be because now everything is bought in but we did find a nice variety here and there was also a good range of local sauces, chutneys and jams on offer. I am glad we called in and we purchased a couple of items.

This shop has something for everyone. In the back are jams, mustards, honeys and other delicacies and in the front are all sorts of old fashioned lollies, chocolates and icecreams. The service was friendly and welcoming and the honeycomb I purchased is the most delicious ever and not too expensive at all.
