About
Suffoir Winery and Brewery is a family-owned and operated boutique vineyard located on the outskirts of Macarthur, Victoria. We have 2.5 acres of MV06 Pinot Noir grapes grown on two distinct soil types. The name Suffoir is derived from the Suffolk sheep and pinot noir grapes on the property. We recently launched our beer range, The Three Alpacas, based on the three alpacas roaming the property as well as our Gin and Brandy range. Our standard beer range includes an Indian Pale ale, Citrus Pale Ale and Amber Ale. We also offer seasonal beer at the cellar door. Our ethos is to utilize and incorporate everything on the property to create quality, locally produced products for our clients. For this reason, everything is produced and packaged on the property. Our cellar door experience includes wine, gin, brandy and beer tastings as well as coffee and cheese platters.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A hidden gem ❤️ Take some time to relax just outside picturesque Macarthur. The wine is amazing and the platters are packed with delicious delights including home grown figs and wine jelly with a hint of chilli, all made on site. My daughter loved feeding the alpacas and sheep. You must stop on your way to World Heritage Listed Budj Bim National Park.

Dropped by and grabbed a couple of bottles of the Pinot. Very nice!
But the real treat was the wonderful owners letting my kids feed the alpacas!

30 min drive from where we live in and was definitely worth a visit! Phoned ahead and ordered a cheese platter and was met on arrival by owners who were an informative & friendly couple.
Tasted the locally produced wines and beers in a quaint setting and enjoyed a lovely afternoon sitting outside with a view of the vineyard with Suffolk sheep roaming the property.
Definite a great way to spend an afternoon!

We found this fabulous oasis of decadence and well deserved after several days of camping and hiking around the country side. Very luxurious which caters all your taste buds from beer, wine, freakshakes etc.

Visited the cellar door as part of a hens day last weekend and everyone loved it! We called ahead to give notice that we were coming and they had cocktails ready for us, and set out a lovely lunch of cheeses, fruits, crackers, fruit pastes...and preserved walnuts! Delicious!
We tasted the pinot noir which went down very easily and had photos taken in the vines which they will email to us.
The grounds are pretty and the shed we had lunch in has been fitted out really nicely, even complete with a wood fire.
Worth the slight detour if you are heading in the general direction :)

We visited this venue after having done a short walk in the national park. We didn’t know what to expect but had one of the greatest afternoons.
The tasting plate of gins is a must and gives you a taste of all the different flavours used. We also had a grazing board filled with delicious items.
We went on a sunny day so the venue was stunning. The staff are very helpful and we saw a few other patrons walk around the vines.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Unfortunately the wines and beers need considerable work.
Expensive and (exceptionally) disappointing

Had a great experience at Suffoir! Tried the wine, cider and beer and all were great 👍🏽 The plougman’s platter was tasty, especially the jam chilly which we all bought a jar of! Nice place to end the day.
