Located in the renowned Yarra Valley, Helen's Hill is committed to making premium single vineyard wines, with minimal handling. We love farming, we love good food, we are passionate about making great wine and at the end of the day what we enjoy the most is sharing our life on the land with those who visit. So come visit!

Helen's Hill winery was recommended to us by another long standing winery in the area.
When we arrived we quickly had a late lunch sandwich. (The winery could only supply a cheese board - not good for lactose intolerant people)
We said we're here for a wine tasting and will be at the cellar door shortly.
On arrival to the cellar door we were directed to the high tables and told that someone will take us through the tasting shortly. 15 minutes later we weren't even given any information on what was on offer for tasting.
Great way to treat visitors to your area and Victoria. Lost a customer there.

Relaxing and tasty winery just outside of Lilydale surrounded by th Ed vines and gums - even has a grassed area for the kids and dogs ( balls & frisbees supplied ) 😄
Had a leisurely lunch here on the outside heated balcony - we opted for a share platter and a lovely white.
Can thoroughly recommend.
Great for families and small groups too.

Great little winery with exceptional Halliday ratings for their wines. Also nice sharing and pizza menu. Expanding their outside seating areas so when the weather finally picks up in Melbourne will be a great spot to spend and afternoon for lunch.
Pleanty of indoor seating at the moment with heaters so still very pleasant.

One of, if not THE best wine tasting my wife and I have ever experienced. (And, believe me, we've done plenty!) Overall we had been a bit disappointed with the Yarra Valley wine tastings as most were meagre and expensive compared to other Australian wine regions. Not so here - generous tastings of many truly delicious wines whilst perched on a beautiful deck set amongst the vineyards. It would have been a great place to lunch had we not done so already. Our host Peter was knowledgeable, relaxed and very funny - he really made it memorable. We came away with a box of seriously good wines (at reasonable prices) and a club membership! Next time we'll stay for lunch.

Delightful spot for an afternoon on the deck with some share plates and a glass of wine. Just be sure before you leave to check that you have the wine you paid for. We paid for a Helen’s Hill Chardonnay and we’re disappointed when we got home to open the bag and discover we were given a bottle of the inferior Ingram Road Pinot Gris instead. Hopefully just an inadvertent error but it left a bad taste after an otherwise pleasant outing.

This winery is well worth the visit. We enjoyed wine tasting with Paul, he was very knowledge. The cellar door was a relaxed, modern and friendly atmosphere; exceeded our expectations. Next time we will come and enjoy a platter with a glass of wine. We will definitely return.

Firstly, just go!!!
We booked in for a wine tasting with another couple, and Cameron took care of us. He was fantastic! Knowledgeable, engaging, great conversation, and he laughed at my jokes 😉
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Next time we will stay for lunch.

This was the last stop for our day trip to Yarra Valley and we are SO glad we didn’t skip it. We were greeted by the darling Marianne with her sweet disposition and beautiful French accent. She explained and shared the wines so well that we left with 6 amazing bottles. We can’t wait to enjoy a bottle with our charcuterie board tonight for dinner.

A great hidden cellar door which has a great relaxed atmosphere. Do not eat at the venue but saw the cheese boards and looked very nice. Worth a visit if you want to go to somewhere smaller.

Was just wondering if you offer set menus? Whether it be individual meals or share platters/ pizzas for an end of year work function. Probably a Sat or Sun afternoon ?

Hi there, i was as customer and did enjoy the chees board and pizza and nice wine to. Probably is the best to contact them and find out excactly what they offer on the day.
