You could easily picture the street in its hey day, with a large number of historical buildings retained along Piper Street. Many restaurants make this a foodie mecca, lots of art and craft stores too. Worth getting off the Freeway for a lunch stop, or...More

Quaint street no different in layout to those main streets in other gold rush towns. Easy to walk. However there seems to be more cafes and restaurants coming up creating the food hype in Kyneton. Some of the food establishments were under renovation this weekend...More

Piper street is the min street for any shopping in Kyneton. All the stores have friendly staff and beautiful products, all worth spending some time in. It's a creative strip, food, plants and galleries available.

We loved the high quality of the shops up and down this street... delightful interior design and antiques but no trashy, cheap "imported" products.

This area is filled with interesting shops, antiques, etc. It is a great restaurant strip and very popular on a sunny day. The bigger restaurants might need bookings. There are three Age Good food Hats along the street!
