We found Chris Cregan on the internet. From the outset it showed that she was organised, keen to know what we liked, and what we wanted from a conducted one-day tour of the Macedon area. She made many suggestions, but was always willing to change them, even at the last minute (which we did). Chris is a happy, chatty person who puts you at your ease: a highly competent and very friendly tour guide. We used our car - me as driver with Chris navigating - as we had a large, upmarket hire-car. However, Chris has a nice vehicle that she usually uses on such occasions.

I love this day. This is the second year I have enjoyed visiting the beautiful Spring Hill farm with Cregan Creative tours. We start the day with home made morning tea and bubbles, then all jump on a bus to go to a little peony farm with a picture perfect chapel, art on display and a coffee van. While our hostess sets up the picnic, we amble over the hill to pick our peonies, then come back to home made delicacies and a rose’ to wash them down. Chris goes out of her way to make the day memorable and even sewed us a special bag to hold our blooms.
Can’t wait to do it again next year!

A big thumbs up to Cregan Creative. I was looking for something for a few yogi girlfriends & myself……something not mainstream wineries…something a little different! The idea of catching the train from Southern Cross to Kyneton tickled our fancies. Our hostess Chrissy had us on a certain train & was there waiting with the friendliest welcome. We jump in the van & proceed to our 1st destination which we had left up to chrissy’s imagination….she did not disappoint us girls. Her knowledge of local goings on of the area is vast. A couple of wineries & a quick visit to Istra Smallgoods….Before we knew it was lunch time & a magical hamper full of local yummies…wine, fruit, salamis, hams, preserves served on delectable local bread. Washed down with some cheeky local bubbles of the area….armed with a lot of local knowledge & deep belly girl laughing!!! Ready to come & experience something that little bit different in Kyneton & surrounds again. Chrissy deposited us back at the old Kyneton train station & we were homeward bound back to Melbourne town before we knew it.

Had a fabulous day!! Caught the train from Southern Cross and was greeted by Chris at Kyneton station. We then crossed the road where a sumptuous morning tea (complete with Proseco 🥂), was provided at Chris’ beautiful home.
We were bused to the Peony farm, where lunch was provided, and where we got to pick our own peonies to take home!
Beautiful day, expertly organised and a lot of fun.... we arrived back in Melbourne around 5pm! Highly recommend taking one of Chris’ tours💕

Would like to extend a massive thank you to Cregan Creative for an amazing day at the Macedon Ranges. Throughout the whole day Chris made us feel so comfortable making us laugh along the way, whilst giving the space to enjoy a very personal and relaxed experiwnce.
The wineries in the area were absolutely gorgeous and so was the wine! Personally speaking we had no idea that Heathcote and the Macedon area offered so many great wineries and it's a little hard to understand why it's not as famous as say Yarra Valley, especially considering that it's such a short train ride away. The the tour lasted for what felt like just the right amount of time and ended with an amazing Gin tasting in the beautiful town of Kyneton, which is really worth a visit by itself.
Thanks again, we look forward to seeing you again soon for another day out.
