What an absolute waste of money! On arrival at “park” we waited ages to paid admittance as one person was running the whole thing!
Inside the “park” was so disappointing, no reptiles at all, no echidna to be seen, Tasmanian devil hid in the log the whole time, Meerkats were “having health” checks but in conversation another family stated that the meerkats had been away for “some time”
Quokka’s consisted of one that did not move the whole entire time.
Open feeding of Kangaroos is really kangaroos behind a chain mesh fence that you have to feed through the fence other than that no interaction with them whatsoever. The only animals that you could actually interact with was the emus and with that many people all wanting to touch, feed and pay they were getting grumpy.
For $25 a person this was the most expensive bush walk I’ve ever taken. And in all honesty you would have seen more “wildlife” on a free bushwalk!

Queued for 10 mins to get in whilst the only person serving was also needing to take food orders. No organisation of staff and a poor welcome.

None of the wonderful kangaroos/ Emus roam freely as they did before- they are now in small compounds with only 5 roos been seen!

Lots of empty enclosures, looks very tired and is no longer a flag for Kyabram.

A real shame!

This was my first encounter with some iconic Aussie wildlife. We were greeted at the entrance by one of the zoo keepers who was holding a small snake, that we were able to touch. It was great to be able to feed tge wallabies and kangaroos. The bird feeding segment was wonderful as the beautiful birds land around the dish u are holding and on you. Later we went to the Koala segment and got to touch a koala and opportunities to take pics. All the animals, birds and reptiles were amazing to see. My only unhappy moment was the tassue devils and quolls were not available to view, but it was understandable (it was hot). Definately excellent value for money. Highly recommend for a great day out

We spent about 3 hours exploring all the park had to offer. We did some of the animal experiences on offer. We meet the Koalas, walked a Dingo and feed a Cassowary. I found the animal experiences really good value at $30 a person.

The park is large and spacious with plenty of room for the animals. You can buy food to feed the Kangaroos that roam freely on a large section of the park. You will see kangaroos and emu walking freely in the park. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful.

They have a canteen/gift shop that sells a limited amount of food drinks, enough to keep everyone happy. Recommend a visit if your in the area

We had American relatives and they wanted to see native Australian animals. We could only find 1 koala from a long distance sitting in a tree branch right at the back of the exhibit. Only 3 kangaroos who weren’t interested in eating our expensive food bought in the shop. The emus were good and so was the Tasmanian Tiger. A lot of exhibits were empty and there were no snakes pertaining to this area. Feeding times were different to what was on the website. The fellow who did a 20min talk on the python snake was brilliant. We were all very disappointed considering it cost over $100 to enter. We have taken USA relatives there 7 yrs ago and it was a good overview.then.

An excellent little zoo to explore with little legs. Some enclosures have been upgraded, some still in working progress. We saw many animals in actions, the Tasmania Devils doing their circuit walk, the wombat approaching and scratching its own back, the kids and dad running with the cassowary... ... Great family experience. Unfortunately the animal encounters have been fully booked. We will have to plan ahead for our next visit.

Waist of time line up for 20mins to check in with one junior staff member given a map and spent a long time walking between viewing very few animals behind glass and fences and empty enclosures. Toilets ordinary and grounds lacking upkeep. Would not recommend taking kids boring.

This park is a disgrace!
Kangaroos in total - 6.
Emus - 3
Wombats - 3
Reptiles? Where 1 snake in front entrance!
This is not a park.
Grounds and enclosures are so neglected and appalling.
$20 per adult to see pretty much nothing. You have better luck seeing animals on the side of the road. Please don’t waste your time, money coming to this park. It’s not even worthy of a title to be called a park.
So so disappointing.
We took our kids to this park many years ago it was terrific.
Thinking hey let’s drive 350km and take our grandkids here was a terrible mistake.
This park should be shut down.
Oh by the way, If they had a park ranger/keeper in there they’d notice 1 of their kanga was really quite sick.

The weather was perfect on the day we visited. There are a few free roaming (grumpy) Kangaroos and (hilarious) emus you can feed. Heaps of wallabies in a spacious enclosure you can also feed, as well as Kangaroos being Kangaroos in their territory up the back where (if you’re foreign) you can see how they live naturally.

Lots of animals I have never seen before such as the cassowary and tawny frogmouth! Amazing. So many beautiful native birds..
Everyone I spoke to were so friendly, helpful and caring even though I felt like a pain in the butt.
What else can I say? I love our native animals, definitely with a visit.

We visited Kyabram specifically to visit the fauna park and take place in the dingo experience. We spent some time walking around looking at the other exhibits and all the animals look very happy and well cared for. The walk through aviary's were a nice way to view the birds. The highlight for us was the dingo experience where two young dingoes are placed into harnesses and you are given the opportunity to take them for a short walk then come back to the enclosure and have a photo taken with the animals before hiding food in the enclosure for them to find as part of their enrichment. Overall a wonderful experience and reasonably priced. There are some new buildings going in too to improve customer experience.
