Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Koroit Botanic Gardens are worth a look around, particularly if you're interested in rare and unusual plants and trees. Often overlooked as a picnic spot because of its proximity to the hugely popular (and very impressive) Tower Hill Reserve, it's a great example of 1870's garden design and planning in an exposed environment.

Over the last century or so, the gardens have experienced periods of neglect, followed by rejuvenation, so much of the original understory vegetation has been replaced with even more rare and uncommon foliage plants, making it a great spot for a picnic on a hot day under one of the original trees.

It's generally a quiet, shady spot with loads of local birdlife; like a little pocket of natural oddities amongst the grand architecture of the many churches surrounding it in this historically Irish village.

Such a pleasant place to walk, relax and just unwind. Beautiful, huge old trees, wide paving, excellent for pushers, with the added bonus of children’s playground.
Koroit is a delight to visit for all the right reasons.

One of many parks and gardens throughout Victoria designed by William Guilfoyle. The highlight of the gardens is the huge Moreton Bay tree

We had no idea Koroit had a Botanical garden area so we were very pleasantly surprised when we accidentally came across it while following the church steeples in Koroit. It is a picturesque pleasant area that would be appreciated in all weather but highly recommended for a picnic in the summer.
