Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This 2km track enables you to walk through a variety of environments ranging from coastal, scrub and mangrove. With its environmental diversities the walk enables visitors to view a range of vegetation and wildlife that makes use of it, making it a pleasant and enjoyable as well as memorable experience. Offers a variety of experiences providing there is a willingness not to rush through it.

Do not follow the sign in town!! To find this walk, drive to the end of the Esplanade and park outside the angling club. Walk through the caravan park to the end of the road (past all the camping sites). The start of the walk is clearly marked when you get there. On the way back there is a fork in the boardwalk path to take the beach back. It’s an easy walk through lots of varying nature. There’s a really beautiful tree as you are near the top of the Bluff.

This lovely walk is one of Inverloch's best kept secrets. You have to walk or drive to the eastern end of The Esplanade, past Cuttriss Street, then go all the way through the caravan and camping ground until you reach the carpark at the start of the walk. From the carpark you proceed through scrubby vegetation to the start of the boardwalk over the saltmarsh. This takes you to the bridge over Screw Creek, from where you can view the mangroves, and look out along the small estuary to the beach. From there you access a walking circuit which takes you through scrubland then up to Townsend Bluff and wonderful views of Anderson Inlet and Cape Smythe on the opposite shore. The walk is approximately 1.5kms in length, and takes you through some diverse and interesting coastal micro-environments. Walk back along the estuary and return to your car via the beach, tides permitting.

A great walk for exercise that's totally free. Start from the end of the caravan park and walk through green Aussie bush. This breaks through to a board walk which leads onto a bridge crossing Screw Creek. Continue on towards the bluff for a magnificent view.

A gorgeous easy walk with the most spectacular views. As a amateur photographer I had the best time trying to capture the beauty of the place

It was an ok walk with some nice views of the coast from the top of the hill. Had difficulty finding the signs for the walk. We ended up walking a lot further than we needed too trying to find the walk. We know now that you have to either drive right through the Big 4 camping site to the small car park at the entrance to the walk (shortest and easiest option) or do what we did and walk all the way around on the sand and park at the entrance to the camp site.

Walked through the foreshore caravan park which is quite lovely in itself - lots of trees, space, green lawns etc - and quiet.
Found Screw Creek walk easy enough at the end of the park and set off along the boardwalk. Soon crossed Screw Creek (tidal) and headed up into the bush on the only things that looked like a hill in the whole district. Lovely fauna, some great views, easy walk up and down. Good well defined path.

Love the easy meandering nature of this walking track, the boardwalk and bridges are really good, at low tide the view from the bridge is interesting, overlooking the mangroves with crabs that scurry across the mud. The view from the headland at the end of the walk is the highlight of the walk.

Good for families, couples and singles. Nice easy walk along creek with boardwalks, fishing platforms and signage. Look for the crabs!

A hidden gem. It was kind of weird having to drive through a camping ground to get to the small car park near the entry. The history boards to the left of entry were great reading. It was amazing how the temperature dropped and rose as we approached different areas. It was quite an easy walk but unfortunately is not wheelchair friendly
