Amazing!

The time of my life. The views and food were amazing. A bus brought us up the mountain. Tickets to ride the bus were purchased at the same location where the buses were waiting. You don’t need a tour guide it’s really not that complicated to find the bus station. Salzbergstraße 45, 83471 Berchtesgaden

The Oaks Cape Paterson
Jun. 2021
The Oaks is a sandy beach with a surf zone along this rocky section of coast.
It is backed by a small, vegetated dune of oaks.I learnt that , contrary to the other trees, you need a he oak and a she oak to pollinate. A foot track enters the middle of the beach.

Nice spot to visit. Suggest to walk to Shack bay for the day. Take water and a camera, you are sure to get some nice shots

Amazing property with room for improvement in management
Jan. 2021 • Family
Lovely property with amazing views. Kitchen was generously stocked with breakfast and essentials.

Unfortunately our calls, texts and emails all went unanswered, no property management or reception to speak of. Also all water needs to be boiled before using which was a nuisance, music speaker was broken (with no one to tell about it) and no wifi.

A NICE SURPRISE
Nov. 2020
We really enjoyed the view of Eagles nest and the views down toward Inverloch. The day was calm and the sun was out and we saw an Echidna having a feast on large ants and having a great time of it. The fact we got close to it didn't faze him/her at all.
We stood there for ages just soaking up the magnificent views.

What a stunning place to visit. Lovely beach with views to die for. An easy walk to the viewing platform. Beach is steep but worthwhile. You must stop and see it.

Truly awesome

The coastline around this place is amazing. Check the tides and go near low tide if you can because then you can walk around the whole rock formation. It’s truly awesome.

The cradle of Australia’s dinosaur discoveries
Jan. 2020 • Solo
At only a two hour drive from Melbourne Australia's first dinosaur bone, the Cape Paterson Claw, was discovered here in 1903 by William Ferguson in Cape Paterson or what is now Eagles Nest, Bunurong Marine National Park, Inverloch. At low tide stunning rock pools and colorful sandstone formations are revealed which make for good photo shoot opportunities. Not very far down the road in eastern direction you’ll find the township of Inverloch with its beautiful beaches, fishing corners and lovely cafes. The whole coastline is absolutely magnificent. In Inverloch itself there is the Bunurong Environment Center where you can gain a lot of information about the area, its past, present and future ... if you are a really keen ‘paleontologist’ then book a tour with Mike Cleland who will take you to Flat Rocks and will take you back in time 120 million years. Eagles Nest and Inverloch are truly a place for the whole family to spent a couple of weeks discovering, sporting and relaxing near the ocean. Totally recommendable!!! :)
