About
Four Pillars Gin launched in 2013 and has since gone on to win an array of awards at home and around the globe. Our home in Healesville is where we make and experiment with gin, and where you have the option of trying and learning about gin in several different formats. Come and do a neat gin tasting or sip on a G&T paddle at your table, while taking in our German sister-stills Wilma, Jude, Beth and Coral. You’ll find any of our current and limited release bottles, you can experience one of our various masterclasses or just come and soak in our hospitality space while enjoying one of the gin cocktails from our frequently changing menu. Plus we have a number of delicious snacks made with our Made From Gin range. Find out more about which masterclasses and various other experiences are available via our website. We are currently undergoing a significant expansion to be approximately double the size, looking to open our new space in April 2022.

Great way to spend an afternoon

We’ve wanted to come here for so long and we weren’t disappointed. The staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Special shout-out to Laura who was really attentive and gave great recommendations. We had the tasting paddles, as well as delicious beetroot dip, croquettes and roasted nuts. Will definitely be back!

Great gin tasting

Had a great visit. Did the gin tasting. Liz (our tasting guide) was fantastic- wonderful personality and extremely knowledgeable. Great trying 5 of their different gins. They have a much bigger range than what is available in retail stores. Bought a nice bottle of Navy strength. Cafe looked very nice - have to try it next time

Did recently a gin test session there and must confess although not a gin super fan I loved it.
The young lady who provided us the tasting session informations was realy helpful, informative and pleasant too 😉
The flavors, diversity and aroma each of the five different gins WE tried was realy interesting and after five shooters although I did not swallowed all of it, must admit I was a bit dizzy at 10 am 🤣
Overall was a great experience and visit to a nice place with great people enjoying their products and endorsing, thanks again to the young lady who made our gin tasting session memorable

Gin Heaven

The Distillery has recently been renovated and it is outstanding, if you like gin, this place is heaven. The staff discuss what you are drinking and make recommendations, very helpful. It is a busy place with people coming and going, dropping in for a drink and/or eating. We drank their limited edition rhubarb and lemon gin which is amazing. If you are visiting wineries it is well worth the trip up the road to Healesville to Four Pillars!

Best gin distillery I've visited

The tasting experience was more than we expected. For $15 we got 5 tastings, a thorough explanation of the flavoured ingredients and the whole distilling process. Laura was an excellent host and a wealth of knowledge. And the gin - well the flavours were amazing. I highly recommend this place and the food next door. I hope you get Laura.

What a treat to visit this authentic and hospitable distillery - with a bar and a variety of tasting experiences

Healesville and the surrounding area is a great place to visit, and readily accessible from Melbourne.

There’s a variety of attractions, including world class wineries.

And, Four Pillars is a definite “must” for visiting if you are an aficionado of gin!

They are authentic distillers, and they have a variety of specialty gins on offer for sampling and purchase.

The venue has a cool contemporary ambience, and the staff are friendly and hospitable.

Well worth a visit!

Price disappointment

Firstly I’d just like to say the distillery has an impressive retail/cafe space.It does however disappoint me that you can buy their products cheaper at Dan’s!Where is the enticement to purchase direct from the distiller??

Hey there! Thank you so much for coming in to visit us, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed the space at the distillery! We hope you had a wonderful time. We do understand the disappointment of our products being cheaper at Dan Murphy's. The reason for this is that Dan's, being a large-scale, national giant has the ability to price compete with all other retailers. This means that although there are always recommended retail prices that producers set, retailers like Dan's can afford to take the price cut to compete and sell lower than all other retailers, including the producers themselves. If we were to adjust our pricing to compete with Dan's, they would then adjust their pricing lower again. So sadly, we can't price match. By all means, please take advantage of Dan’s crazy pricing. Those are some sensational gins they are selling for lower prices. But buying directly from producers helps to keep Australian small businesses making amazing gins and interesting, delicious products! Hope you can stop in at the distillery for a cocktail again, soon!

We hadn't been since they opened the restaurant pavilion. The fit out is beautiful, the drink offering plentiful and the range of bar snacks was very good too. Very fun spot for a couple of hours.

Great Gin Tasting with Lincoln

Cool Gin tasting 😋, Lincoln was so informative and patient with us.

Highly recommend you stop in for either a paddle tasting or just a nice gin in a really relaxed place.
