We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely love the memo. I'm local and just love the fact that I can indulge in quality shows without heaving into the City. We are quite spoilt by the comedic, musical, theatrical, dances and art on offer here........and for a fraction of the cost in the city. Just saw comedian Dave Thornton and can't remember when I've laughed that hard. Brilliant! Staff are also knowledgable and terrific hosts. Seating comfy, no heads in the way of stage at all. I'll be back

This Hall was funded by public subscription as a tribute to local men who served in World War One. It was opened in 1924 by the Governor General Lord Forster.

Henry William Forster, 1st Baron Forster, GCMG, PC (31 January 1866 – 15 January 1936) was a British politician who served as the seventh Governor-General of Australia, in office from 1920 to 1925.

The Governor-General of Australia is His Majesty The King’s representative (George V at the time this was opened) . A Governor-Generals key constitutional duties include:

* Presiding over the Federal Executive Council
* Facilitating the work of the Commonwealth Parliament and Government
* Dissolving Parliament and issuing writs for a Federal election
* Commissioning the Prime Minister; appointing Ministers and Assistant Ministers; and swearing-in other statutory positions
* Holding and possibly exercising the Reserve Powers.

AND at this time... opening the Memo! The Memorial Hall is quite a stunning tribute to the gallant lads that gave their all for the country. :) War memorial is directly in front of the building. The building is red brick with cream trim.

The Memo is located in the town centre of Healesville

This venue hosts movies, live music and theatre.

This historical building was constructed in 1924 and reopened in 2012.

It has lovely architecture and has been beautifully renovated.

Dropped into ‘The Memo’ today to view the current art exhibition. Centrally located and nicely renovated facility. Definitely worth a look.

We attended a "4 Artists 4 Stories" Exhibition at the Memo Gallery, and were very taken by the whole layout of the hall. What a great center piece for the heart of Healesville!

Great venue. We saw Rod Quantock perform there. Its a good space. Comfortable seating. The ticketing staff were helpful too. The Old Memorial Hall has been tastefully renovated onto a lovely 'Arts space'. There was a photography display on as well when we visited plus the latest movies The Memo shows weekly. A good night out

WOF Gathering weekend with most functions at the Memo. Good facilities. Easy access with lift to auditorium if needed. Smaller rooms used for static displays.

I love our Memo, it's been refubished, the theatre is state of the art, the seats are uncomfortable and the film schedule is impossible for anyone who works (most films seem to be on during the day) but there are exhibitions on here and really interesting things to come and see and learn and do. It really needs to be better promoted tho even online it's hard to find.
