Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hot day in Bright so went to a slightly less busy waterhole to have a swim. Found Tronoh dredge hole pleasant easy to get to and very refreshing. Some canoes a small jetty and a rope swing into the water for the more daring.

We heard about this place from a lovely couple at our accommodation. It’s such a hidden gem, with a rope swing and pier. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim but we will be back in summer to swim

All three kids had a great time - eldest game enough to swing off the rope, youngest happy to jump off the jetty over and over again..
Bring a picnic, your inflatables and enjoy a cheap day out
There’s a wood bbq, toilets and plenty of spots in the shade

If we were not told of this place we'd have never of found it. Quite a lot of people swimming but there was room and its only a walk from the town.

An informative look at dredging during the gold rush era. Great spot for photographers with still water echoing the reflections of sky, mountains and trees.

Peaceful stroll around the dredge hole, did get a bit freaked out when an alpine copperhead crossed our path so be careful! We walked up to it from the river.

I really don't know. But there is a trout farm near Bright and you are able to catch and release fish. Or if you advise them that you wish to catch and buy your catch, that is an option, too. Lots of fun either way.
