Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sat on lake sandy shore and watched the serene summer day view of Grampians range.
Nearby the Stawell Yacht Club was active with happy sailors anticipating a great day.
Safe to swim or wade. A top spot to have a picnic lunch.

Only a decade ago recall Lake Fyans being only half full.
Plenty of rain in latter years has brought it right back to life - birds agree!
Pretty lake, still and quiet. Good for a cool dip with kids. Unsure about fishing.
Great spot to relax, enjoy a picnic and savour view of Grampian ranges.

This is an awesome place to get photos at sunrise. I loved the look of the old trees in the lake as the sun came up. Well worth a visit if you love to take photos or see a beautiful area .

We stopped to check out Lake Fyans recently when in the area, and were swooped several times by very large magpies. In July! The lake is OK, however do watch out for the territorial birds in the trees!

Do you like to go for a boating or have a swim or maybe just walk along the lakeside or sit next to the lake and enjoy its beauty. Park your car alongside and enjoy your time with friends in or out of water.
really love this place

Great place to visit, walk, fish, boating etc...
Easy access to the Grampians and Halls Gap. Plenty to see and do.
The Camping grounds/Holiday Park is also a great place to stay.

Detoured to the lake on the way back to Halls Gap, and what a surprise.
Sandy beaches at the boat ramp and Angling Club. Sun casting shadows, of the once majestic gum trees in the water and such a peaceful and very pleasant place.
The caravan park is ideally situated and would be a fantastic base for those into water sports.
