The best thing you will do in the Grampians! Our 6yr old (read whingey) got up there no trouble from the Wonderland carpark - which is the more scenic route.

We took our 2 kids 8 & 9 on this walk and we all loved it!! We started at the big 4 and walked along into halls gap, right past the police station and right again past the tennis courts. The botanical gardens were first...More

We are a retired couple in our early sixties and hiked from the Sundial car park to the Pinnacle. Not the fittest by any means but we took our time, scrambled over many boulders etc and found the end result, breathtaking. Absolutely worth it!

Go early because it got very crowded later on. The view is amazing, and the hike isn't too strenuous.

Don't expect a nice walkway all the way there. The path has been constructed in keep with the surroundings using existing rocks etc. Some of the steps are steep but nothing particularly tricky. If you are out of shape it will be fairly challenging -...More

Walked up here both from Halls Gap (5 hour return), and Sundial Carpark (1 hour return). Longer walk takes in Grand Canyon and other sites. Not to be missed.

This is by far the best walk ever! We started from the Wonderland carpark, so we could do the Grand Canyon and Silent Street walk. It is so picturesque and beautiful. It can be challenging with small children. It is a good 4km round trip....More

This would be too much in one day! Stay in Halls Gap or Dunkeld and then go to Port Campbell the next morning.

Thanks for all the answers, we have stayed one night in Halls gap, did the pinnacle and McKenzie falls the next morning, and went to GOR in the afternoon and stayed one night in Port Campbell. Pinnacle is the best of all
