Rewarding trek

I took my parents who are both late 60s. It was hard on my mum's knees, but she loved it. If you travel with elderly parents, be prepared to have frequent rest stops.

There are several ways to reach the top of The Pinnacle. Years ago, when we were much younger, we did the more challenging walk from the Wonderland car park. This time, now in our 60's and after a day of doing quite a few walks already, decided to do the less challenging walk from Sundial car park, which is 4.2km... More

The Canyon which you climb through to reach the top and the Pinnacle are like nothing I have experienced before. The rock formations are just sensational and the views span as far as the eye can see. There are two routes you can choose from after you pass through the Canyon and I am so glad that we took the... More

Must Visit spot in Grampians. I want to test my fitness taking hike to Pinnacle and we made it. My hike started from Sundial car park, which is medium hard than wonderland car park. Our family with two kids (9 and 4years) made it. It took 3.5hrs to return car park. I recommend this adventure either in morning or evening... More

An avalanche of orgasmic beauty. Me and my two daughters 7 and 13 did the 6.2km trek and boy was it worth it.

We had a fabulous picnic on top of the pinnacles, the hike up was really good and it your heart racing, allow enough time to take in the beautiful scenery and water to drink on the way

We parked at the 'Wonderland Car Park' which has tracks leading to many of the amazing sights of the area. From here it is a 2.1km trek uphill. Along the way you get to see amazing rock formations like the 'Grand Canyon' (not quite to the American scale but still beautiful), Bridal Veil Falls and the 'Cool Chamber'. Of course,... More

We climbed up the pinnacle from the wonderland car park through the gran canyon. It is about 4km round trip (about 2/3 hours) that requires a moderate level of fitness. Worth every single steps, the view is just amazing from the top. Make sure you wear comfy shoes, bring a lot of water and a hat. We climbed up with... More
