Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The friendly service from Noel at Grampians Personalised Tours was nothing short of superb. Communication was easy and responses prompt. Noel’s knowledge of the area and the flora and fauna was impressive. An all round great bloke. Highly recommend.
Thank you Sal

The whole experience was excellent! Noel is an incredibly friendly guy who is more than happy to share information about everything. Definitely a great way to see and learn about the Grampians, from a local perspective. (Note: we were a family of 4 adults, including seniors. Noel catered for this by giving us options re amount of walking.)

We had a fascinating night walk and a great half day 4wd experience with Noel. He is a knowledgeable enthusiastic guide, full of love for the Grampians and the native flora and fauna. Really enjoyed the time we had with him and saw so much more that we would have by ourselves.

We had a great half day with Noel who was not only great company but very knowledgeable. He was flexible with meeting our needs and tried to ensure we saw as much as possible of the Grampians are. He was professional and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend this tour to others.

The lookouts on our day out with Noel were magnificent. We left our motorhome in Halls Gap while Noel drove us around all day taking us to places we would have never found. This taste of the Grampians will probably see us back here with our own 4wd to continue our adventures. Noel cooked us up a great BBQ lunch with fresh salad and provided a welcome morning and afternoon tea!

Noel gave us a great tour today and we saw all the sights in the vicinity. He is very nice guy who gave indeed a very personalised tour which fitted well with our family.

His tea and coffee stops are nice but his homecooked lunch is even better.

Noels style was exactly how we like it. Personlised, with a touch of humor and literally down to earth.

I can really recommend this tour.

We did the full day highlights tour last week with Neil as our guide. We got to see so many different and interesting things - Silverband Falls, Mt William, McKensie Falls, The Balconies, Baroka Lookout, etc. Lots of driving but with lots of stops in between. Neil has a wealth of knowledge about all things fauna and flora and has lots of interesting stories about Halls Gap and the Grampians, also did a good job driving around the windy roads up there.
My mum couldn't do some of the walks but she still enjoyed herself and got to see a fair bit. Most of the walks are about 1 to 2 km, some a bit shorter and you can choose to do whichever ones you want so you don't need to be super fit to do this tour.
Morning tea and lunch also supplied.
Another bonus is you get to drive up to the top of Mt William which you can only do through a tour group, otherwise you have to walk about 2km up (a really steep) hill to get there. Great views from the top but take a jacket as it can get really chilly, even in late November.
Price is good especially since they only take up to 6 people maximum so it is very personalised. Pick up and drop off from accomodation in Halls Gap as well.

We drove through the park the whole day. Just the two of us with Noel as driver and guide. We had magnificent views and we saw a lot of wildlife. Noel is very nice. And he made us fine tea and an excellent lunch.

The highlight of our trip to date. Noel, our guide was a mine of information and his sense of humour made it very laid back, and the day went so quickly it was a surprise to find it was 5.30 and it was all over. If you want to see the REAL Grampians-this is the man to show it to you.

I have never had a guide care so much about providing a wonderful day. I booked a private tour around Grampians - he volunteered to come meet with me the afternoon before the trip to talk about the itinerary. He is so knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area, as well as the history of the park. He provided such a nice lunch - it was just an outstanding experience. I have so many memories and so many great photos. Don't pass up the chance to tour with Noel!!
