Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best spot to get an overall idea of Wilsons Prom and surrounds which you can't get from lower down. Best on a really clear day and early morning.

This lookout is worthwhile stopping off at when taking a trip to Foster. It's not too far out of town and the lookout has a few picnic tables and a rotunda with some information about the local area.

The view from this high point is amazing, but the lookout has trees blocking the view as well as powerlines. They really need to build a lookout tower that rises above those, and also keep the trees pruned to a manageable height.
A better view is to be had when driving down the track to the lookout, across a farm just before the lookout.
Definitely worth a visit though, just in case things have improved. And your view will of course be weather dependent too. Really clear air is needed so see the mountains of Wilsons Prom. If it is hazy then they may not be visible at all.

Follow the sign and you will find some rather majestic views at the other end. It's one of those simple pleasures that will cost you nothing...but you can stand there and be amazed by the breathtaking views.

One of those moments that the turnoff is worth it!

Provides the visitor with a typical coastal and rural view of the surrounding countryside. Also provides considerable information regarding the areas diversity.

This has to be one of the finest coastal views in Australia - looking out to the Bass Strait across Corner Inlet to the northern peaks of Wilsons Promontory National Park and to Waratah Bay. Jaw-droppingly gorgeous, except for those overhead powerlines that are unavoidable in any camera shot. Move the power lines and it would be a 10/10 experience.

We stopped here expecting to find a lot of people, as we had everywhere else - but nobody was here! We were able to let our dog off for a run and get some fantastic photos. The only thing that would improve this is if it was up a bit higher.

.... power lines to detract from the view somewhat.

But apart from that this is a great place to stop off quickly at because the views of Corner Inlet are brilliant. And not just on a clear day where you'll get to see lovely coastline views but even on an overcast day as there is something special about seeing mist and rain move across the bay.

Not a massive parking area but you'll be unlikely to have issues finding a park. No facilities but this is just a nice ten minute stop on your drive.
