About
Gurneys' Cidery overlooks Corner Inlet and the wilderness of Wilsons Promontory National Park. We are situated on 70 acres of farmland and have around 6000 heritage cider apple trees. Gurneys specialise in producing traditional dry ciders and serve local cheeses and meats. Gurneys is a must visit on the way to the Prom. We are a working farm, unfortunately this means that no pets are allowed.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must see and do in the South Gippsland area. Innovative ciders, locally sourced food platters and amazing views.

Hosts are always very welcoming.

Its our "go to" when we want to show off to visitors what Gippsland has to offer.

What a surprise! We were welcomed at the front of the area by a really nice guy and shown to a table in the sunshine. We were given menus and my four friends opted for tasting paddles consisting of four different ciders. All agreed the ciders were delicious and a good choice. I opted for the non-alcoholic cider as I was driving however apparently the four tasting basically equated to 1.5 normal drinks. The cider was very good and the service excellent and so friendly. Cheese and other platters were available and looked good but we didn’t try as we had just had lunch. Strongly recommended for something really different especially on a nice sunny day.

Fantastic views, wonderful gardens, great spaces inside and outdoors for visitors coupled with a welcoming friendly team of staff. Incredible what this family has achieved here in under 10 years. They produce and sell quite a range of ciders and offer tastings and tours (highly recommended). So impressed. This should be on a “must do” list for visitors to this area.

Lovely place but I've visited a few times as a local and the owners can be unwelcoming and don't make the experience very relaxed.

I did a cider paddle which was very interesting and Rhonda had a glass of Freisling ( a slushie with Riesling cider added) apparently we now need a slushie machine. We also shared a charcuteris board. It was anextremely hot day but very comfortable inside.

Only visited the “cellar door” not the restaurant but were very impressed with prompt attention and information given about all products.
Purchasing was made easy and discounts given for more than one item.
Friendly staff, vigilant about covid safety, next time we are in the area we will linger longer over a meal

Not far from the small town of Foster, this pet friendly cidery offers amazing cider coupled with tasty tasting boards. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome. It is obvious that the staff have a passion for cider and are super friendly. The cider and food was amazing and the view was simply stunning. We would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Gurney's Cider was a professional and well-run place that presented their ciders well in an interesting tasting 'flight" accompanied by a tasty grazing platter. Prices may have been a little high but overall a very good experience in a great set up. Staff were switched on and friendly and the views were excellent
