Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staying in Edenhope we took on the task of doing the walk. Took an hour and was pleasant albeit a little chilly. Would be much more enjoyable on a sunny warmer day.

Lake Wallace was once the water catchment for the cosy town of Edenhope in Victoria. It no longer supplies the town with drinking water but has become a hub of leisure activities.
Over the Melbourne Cup weekend Edenhope hosted it's annual fishing completion. The lake is stocked with trout to ensure a productive experience.
This friendly town encourages new comers by opening the shoreline for free camping.
We highly recommend the Edenhope Caravan Park. The sites are large and softly lawned with breathtaking views of Lake Wallace. Photographers will relish the devine sunrise and sunset skies above the tranquil lake.
Cabins are available for those who don't tow a caravan or camper. Pleasant tent sites under shady trees are close to Kev's Kitchen, BBQ under verandah and amenities room.
Edenhope has all a traveler requires for a relaxing break away from a noisy polluted city. Only a half day drive from either Melbourne or Adelaide. See you again my dream town.

Had a few hours to spend somewhere, so went over to Edenhope and visited Lake Wallace. A lovely lake on the edge of the Township of Edenhope. So glad we came over to spend a few hours relaxing by the water.

Lovely lake, currently full and right in the centre of Edenhope. Lovely grassy areas place to play, eat and relax. Meant to have some good fishing as well. Great place to take a break.

Great to see the lake nearly full with water again. Lovely area near the pier with picnic tables where we had coffee and cake bought from The Coffee Shop. Modern facilities here and at the nearby Henley Park.

Fantastic relaxing place, you have no big crowd as there is a lot of space. The caravan park and motel is clean and Google standard. Edenhope is centrally located to visit Harrow (a charming little town of 96 yet has cricket musuem handmade items made by locals, ethical musuem

I have travelled through Edenhope on many occasions over the last 20 years. Many of these years this lake has been empty and now it has water again. Water in this lake brings so much life to the area, really sets the town alive

Visited this lake on a business trip here. The lake was not full but still looking good. There is a footpath about 5km long around the lake. It's worth visiting if you have the time

Used to attend nearby Edenhope High School a very long time ago. Only remember the lake as full of water and suitable for both swimming and boating. Very dry and stark without any water now. Lovely area near the pier with picnic tables where we had a late lunch bought at Bennett's Bakery in town.
