Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The sand had felt like walking on hot cole and that's pretty much it other than that the experience of going swimming was really good

Christine and the other staff were excellent. The service was excellent and to top it off the food was magnificent. I had the lamb burger beautiful.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting this when I arrived... areas along the Murray River are usually limited with space, but this... this area is expansive. It has gorgeous stretches of beach for children to play on, or for people to sunbathe ... or to play games. There is reasonable amounts of car parking here and there is also a cafe set back from the beach. There are large Murray gums along the river's edge.

This place is one of those exceptional places that will remain in your mind. There appeared to be a paddle steamer operating nearby ... I was here on a long week-end (Good Friday) where things often close because of the extra rates... and let's face it, staff need time with their families.

If you are in the Cobram area, I would recommend putting this on the 'must visit' list. It's one of those special places that is suitable for everyone to enjoy.

This place is so much like being at the beach. Bring your picnic rug or beach tent and enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the river. Don't forget to bring your bathers to go for a dip and cool down too.

There are plenty of beaches along the Murray and especially in this part of the river. But this is probably the most visitor friendly beach around. It features plenty of grassed area, toilets, foot showers like at an ocean beach and a cafe. The kids loved the playground and shallow water

Hidden gem in winter with hardly a soul about. Beautiful flora and fauna, interesting tree carving and iron works. Probably a different feel in warmer months with more tourists and noise around. Excellent bushwalking and bird watching, even a sleepy koala or two.

The beach was impressive with a large volume of yellow sand beside the muddy brown water and the back drop of red river gums quite impressive and a pleasant place along the Murray.

The staff are friendly and knowledgable. The value is good and the trip very relaxing and enjoyable. Spotting Koalas in the trees on the banks was a highlight

We just happened to call in on one of busiest days of the year. It was an annual kayak race supported by the police and so the place was packed. Everyone was having a great time and lots swimming and cheering on the rivalling teams. There was even a koala in the trees watching the activity.

We visited on the weekend to take a Murray River cruise. Can see why this spot is so popular. One of many natural beaches along the Murray but this spot also has a cafe and plenty of shaded picnic areas.

A must see on the Murray River
