Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is truly a wonderful park all year round, we visited just the other day and enjoyed a milkshake in the cafe onsite. Watching the birds chirping and enjoying each others company. Lots of beautiful spots to relax, have a picnic or watch your children play in the park.

SHAZAM! It's quite the miracle that we have such a gorgeous garden in Berwick. I must say I'm a little deflated after my last attempt at a review went awry. I was reviewing the Gather Cafe and once finished I hit the continue button and 'poof' it disappeared (the review). It's still not up but I'm hoping after some AI consideration it will appear, same as this one.
There are so many ways to enjoy Wilson's Botanic Garden in Berwick that you can come here consecutively an eon on end. Like me! Three hundred and thirty-six days unbroken. YOU should try it. It's good for that soul, that little soul hiding inside of you.
There are two lakes AND a pond, many rotundas, a giant tower that scraps the sky, and two mountainous climbs that best be tackled with a coffee in hand. Check out the fern/pine way. I think it's pine. It looks a little like the shire looking onwards from the tower. The path goes down, down into goblin-town. Or rather shire-town.
I've written a mini essay here and I've probably digressed a little too. But please, do yourself a favour and visit the Wilson Botanic Garden's at least once. It will inspire you forever, plus a day.

Love this park. I think the picnic areas are expensive to hire but if you don’t you could risk missing out so it’s best to hire. But a little expensive. The place is beautiful amazing & love coming here it’s pet friendly too & kids have a great play area.

My wife and I visited this Park recently. It is a large park measuring 138 hectares. We walked around the rose garden next to the visitor's centre, walked around all three lakes and also climbed up Hoo Hoo lookout tower.
We spent about two hours walking across the entire park and enjoyed the physical exercise.

It was a beautiful park that exceeded my expectation. There were plenty of walking tracks some easy, some moderate winding through the rolling terrain. Historical background of the site created an excitement to explore the different areas of the park. Information centre had some exhibits of fossils unearthed at the site and the descriptions provided very useful information. Visit was well worth. There was a little kiosk named “Gather” in the park which offered variety of drinks and bites which was very useful to me.

How else can you explain the fact that this beautiful park only 40 minutes from the Melbourne CBD appears to be unknown by so many people I have spoken to? Converted from a stone quarry operating on the site until the late 1970s, and commissioned as a park in 1992, the transformation of this 'hole in the ground' to a top class recreational park is nothing short of sensational. In a short 20 years, the local shire has landscaped this area into 39 hectares of walks, birdlife, turtles, and fauna (with over 1000 plant species). The walks, circumnavigating two separate lakes and a smaller marsh area, are mostly flat, asphalt paths, however the adventurous can venture onto one of the outer ring walks that may be gravel in parts. The attention to the needs of visitors can be seen everywhere, with plentiful seating placed under shady trees in positions to maintain a scenic outlook; BBQs; toilets; a visitors centre, a children's playground and even a designated ball game area. A really beautiful public space for which entry is absolutely free, so do me a favour and keep this one to ourselves - don't tell others it will only spoil the secret!

Lovely park in the village of Berwick. Great for a walk or family picnic. Movies under the stars is a favourite as is some summer concerts. Perfect for a family picnic. I attended a wedding there, fantastic venue. Just be aware there are snakes around.
