We took the Puffing Billy train from Belgrave to Lakeside, on a lovely day in April. The scenic ride through the beautiful Dandenong Ranges was most enjoyable. The staff, made up mostly of volunteers, were friendly, and accommodating, and obviously love what they do. One...More

A little expensive but well worth the experience, fortunately I had an entertainment book voucher and got 25% off The food was enough. The scones on the way home were freshly made and still warm. The waiter could have done with a shave.More

A must do. A small steam train pulling coaches up the mountain. Great views and fun for the family. You can hang off the train as it moves, be careful with smaller kids. Beautiful picnic spots on the mountain.
