One of my favourite spots

Located on Gorge Rd Beechworth

For those who love natural water play for their kids than look no further than this amazing spot in Beechworth. Featuring numerous rock pools,mini waterfalls, flowing creeks and swimming holes this spot is a must see in the Beechworth area. The best spot to walk down to various waterfalls are on the right hand side but we also loved the area on left hand side under bridge.

For the bushwalking enthusiast you can follow the Spring Creek walking trail from the magnificent Woolshed Falls

DIRECTIONS: the first cascades we visited where under the bridge on Gorge Road on left hand side. We than went to the right hand side of creek about 100 metres further up.

PARKING: 4-5 car spots on Gorge Road at bridge. We had to park a further 20mins up hill. Gorge Road is only one way so visit Cascades after you check out the historic Powder Magazine.

TOILETS: located in town or at Woolshed Falls

WARNING: very slippery under foot on rocks.

Lovely spot

Located off the Gorge Road circuit, the falls are a pretty spot with a number of rock pools suitable for a dip on a warm day.

Wonderful view of the township

This is a great spot for photography opportunities. There were several people setting up for just the right time when the sun shone on all the colours of the trees.

Spectacular

An absolute must. Swim in the many little waterfalls, or sit in the natural pools. There were a lot of families and little kids there so it is for everyone.
