13th Beach is located along the Bellarine Peninsula along the Barwon Heads foreshore. Points of interest include: the surf beach fronting Bass Strait along 13th Beach Road and the Bluff Lookout at Point Flinders, which also provides walking tracks and views over the Town Centre and the Barwon River.

13th beach is a beautiful stretch to walk right from Barwon Heads. The views are stunning and you can take your time and enjoy the fresh beach air without he crowds you get at other beaches close by. There are many paths and walkways through the sand dunes if you want to drive a bit of the way first and... More

Ample car parking with toilets in some, good steps and a lovely long sandy beach. Can be windy at times.

While not getting the accolades of Ocean Grove and Torquay surf beaches, the 13th Beach is the surf beach for the true surfer. Great swells, if not gnarly. Also good for long languid strolls and has the added interest factor of rock pools to explore.

This is such a neat walk that is not that overly exacting and stretches about six kilometres. In any weather a neat walk, whether you see kite surfers, board riders and surf. Walking along the cliff tops gives you views heading into part of Bass Strait. Only five minutes from Barwon Heads township. At times the beach can be almost... More

If you like to watch the swells and breaking waves, smell the salt and breathe in the fresh air then this walk is good for your soul. An easy walk along the cliff tops with plenty of lookouts and seats along the way. ( stopped to read the plaques on every one which makes you reflect on what these people... More

This is a 6 kilometre stretch of ocean beach the faces south into Bass Strait. Runs from Barwon Heads Bluff through to Black Rock Road, where it meets Australia's first wind turbine. Great Beach ! Awesome in winter. In summer at low tide there are several great rock pool areas for kids to play in - about half way along... More

At the first car park after leaving the Bluff, there is a sandy platform with small seat with a dirt ramp on one side and step on other. View along the beach is great. Better if there is surf. Lucky to see a group of paragliders one day closely overhead.
