Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was my 4th Nevermind Adventure and these guys just keep delivering. Having travelled with dozens of tour companies over the years I can honestly say no one even comes close to Nevermind. Matt has an incredible talent for pulling together something that words can only describe as mimd blowing. The route, roads, the local support crew, bikes, hotels, the tour group itself were all world class. I could go on and on but suggest you find out for yourself. Give them a go you will not regret it.

Spent a great 15 days on a Nevermind Adventure tour of north Vietnam and adventure was what we had covering a lot back roads and villages way off the beaten track and main tourist routes. The Vietnamese people are beautiful and friendly to the point I had stopped to film some of our guy coming through some stunning scenery and a scooter pulls up and the rider races over to me to get selfie of her and myself.
Our tour guide and tour captain (Captain Crash, sorry Andrew) did an excellent job, our accommodation was excellent especially the 2 home stays and we ate in traditional provincial foods of each area we past through and while everything may not have gone as planned (a lost key incident) it was an adventure tour.
I would definitely recommend Nevermind Adventure Tour from Geelong, I'm hoping to do one of their Great Ocean Road Royal Enfield tours.

Thanks so much for the kind and honest review. Our Vietnam ride is a really great way to explore the back country of Vietnam and we simply love the people and culture of the region. Look forward to riding with you again soon.

Just completed a three day lap of Tasmania. From booking the trip to being guided on the ride, everything was super easy and well organised. Our guides Tom and Georgia were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking at doing one of their tours.... just do it you wont regret it. Highly recommend Nevermind Adventures 10 out of 10.

Thnaks Rusty, really appreciate the feedback and this was certainly a ride to be remembered. Our Royal Enfield's are a truly great way to experience Tasmania and I think you agree our people and the locals we encounter really add to the experience.

I took a trip last year, v expensive but I was assured well worth it. They were wrong.
Poor organisation and info leading into it. The tour did not follow anywhere near the promised itinerary and aond so did not see half of why I went. Disorganized so most days we had no idea where we were headed. The bikes were old and in poor condition and were not what was promised, all riders experienced breakdowns some major So we lost days of riding whilst these were fixed.
The tour leader was ineffective and patronising and again accommodation wad not only not in the places we were supposed to be but substandard and my expectations as an experienced India traveller were already low.
We did not get what we paid for and have been fobbed off with excuses since returning.
If you want to book a tour ask for a 50% discount, expect only 50% delivery and you may be nearer to value.

Nevermind has provided written response and made significant attempt to make contact with reviewer without response. Nevermind rides are the very best value and always include the best available accommodation, meals and services. Please understand that the Last Frontier region is one of the least developed regions on the planet so some first world services are not always available. The people have very little and are amongst the poorest in the world however do their very best to share with us what little they have.
Itineraries are always subject to change due to the volatile nature of the regions Nevermind travel. Landslides, political activity and road closures are just some of the issues we face on a daily basis. There is always a plan B and missing out one one attraction often means discovering a new something better. Riders are required to be patient and maintain an open mind with regards to events outside of our control. The Last Frontier takes our riders through 4 of the most volatile, beautiful and exciting states of India and for this reason is one of our most popular rides.
Riders are asked to attend dinner each evening for a debrief and to discuss the ride plan for the following day. If a rider misses the briefing for any reason then it is the riders responsibility ask the tour leader or a fellow rider for this information. 10 years of careful planning has gone into designing the Last Frontier ride and both our Indian and Australian guides have extensive training and are comprehensively prepared for each ride. Any concerns can simply be addressed by asking any one of the 5 Nevermind staff.
Our motorcycles are all current model Royal Enfield 500cc Classic Bullets in immaculate condition and rarely breakdown. This is the same model used in India by the military for over 50 years. We have a team of mechanics and a fully equipped support vehicle on hand at all times. In 10 years of riding these regions Nevermind has never lost more than a few hours of riding while vehicles are repaired. We always carry spare bikes and enough spare parts to rebuild a bike in a matter of hours in required due to accident or breakdown.
The Nevermind Tour Leader are all highly qualified and trained to Australian standards. Our Australian staff always all have emergency response experience, have a minimum of 5 years or more of motorcycle tour leading experience and the highest level of medical training available.
Nevermind rides are the best available value on the market. Accommodation is of the highest standard available and is generally in local guesthouses and small locally owned hotels. Please note that this particular reviewer has made many demands for significant cash sums from Nevermind. As a consequence of not receiving cash payment this reviewer and a number of friends have launched an online defamation and slander campaign which is currently under investigation by the Australian authorities.

Don’t go near Nevermind, be prepared to be blocked from Matt’s phone & be abused when requesting information/refund on a tour they canceled
Extremely disappointed with their customer service while they play the victim card rather than face up to their responsibilities

This reviewer received a full refund and then attempted to fraudulently scam a free tour out of the business which has been genuinely trying to rebuild since covid. Despite refund and the business bending over backward to try and appease the reviewer he has consistently bullied and threatened stalked our staff. In particularly his abuse, indecent exposure and inappropriate behaviour toward our female staff could no longer be tolerated and therefore resulted him being banned from our premises and reported to the police. Very shortly after this review appeared. Kindly request readers to read between the lines and disregard this one :) Any questions please do not hesitate to ask. We have screen shots of threats and abuse and photographic evidence of his indecent and disgusting behaviour and are happy to provide these to anyone.

I am off to India in July and had the pleasure of riding through the Ottways and along the Great Ocean Road as part of my pre-trip experience. Fortunately I was able to put together a group of seven including myself, this meant we traveled from Mildura to Neverminds Geelong West headquaters for our ride.
Matt, Anna and our ride guide Bob were great. All of us are dirt bike riders and none of us own a road bike. We bounced from bike to bike throughout the day and most of us rode the whole seven different models available. My favorite was the red 535cc cafe racer, however the chance to wind through the hills and coastline on the original Bullet has increased my enthusiasm and longing for July to arrive as soon as possible.
Local speed limits preclude tearing through corners at breakneck speed, something I know I don't have the skill for anyway, however riding through hairpin bends and winding along one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world was exceptional.
None of the others in the group had even considered riding in India, however the Great Ocean Road idea had them in their dirt bike helmets and all enthused.
Thanks to Nevermind we had a great road-trip, and the opportunity to ride seven different motorbikes in eight hours.
On your own or with friends this is great value for money and somthing you will remember for a long time.

I rode the last Frontier the second time trip has been run , an inexperienced Nevermind guide replaced Matt as the tour guide as he was too busy at Melbourne bike show. The bikes were old and fell to pieces, I had to buy my own lunch on several occasions, debriefs at night did not happen and I never missed the evening meal , details of the following day were we are leaving at 7 going to xxx place , no information of what to see on the way, .No additional excursions replaced visits we didn't do. Places were not visited instead told to go shopping. Matthews response to a reveiw here is his sales pitch on the website. The last Frontier was an adventure with mishaps understandably.but there was no excuses for the lack of experience the Nevermind guide had, no excuses for not providing food , no excuses for poorly maintained bikes and certainly no excuses for not having at the very least the final hotel booked at Kohima which turned out to be student accommodation that was still being built. There are better local Indian alternative .

I did the Himalayan Rumble in 2015 and the Rajasthan Rampage in 2017 with Nevermind Adventure and would do both again.
These tours took me to unique parts of India far off the beaten track and I loved riding the modified Enfield Bullets. They were capable bikes that could conquer the best roads India could offer and gave plenty of thrills at full throttle.
I particularly loved the challenging mountain roads and unique landscapes of the Himalayas but the deserts and culture on the Rajasthan tour were equally enjoyable.
The local Nevermind staff and mechanics were friendly and could sort any issues encountered on the road and I was also really impressed with the corporate responsibility of this company - they support and help fund a primary school at Agra that we visited on the Rajasthan tour and they really look after their local staff.
Make sure you bring a sense of adventure on these trips as you will get to see places well out of reach of the average guided trip around India.

I was introduced to Nevermind Adventure at a motocycle club rally last March in Perth.
India was never a destination I had in mind for visiting but after listening to Damien my thoughts were changed.
This line from their website and from the presentation sold me ....
"You will experience discomfort, anger and frustration, you will sweat, you will get dirty, you will bleed, you will cry, you will laugh....You will live."
I did the Himalayan 18 day Overland adventure and it truly changed my life. India is such a beautiful, diverse, confronting, and contrasting place. We traveled from the crowded city of Delhi to some of the most remote places accessible by vehicle in the region. We met wonderful people on the way and saw absolutely breathtaking sights.
The crew there (both the Indian guys and the Aussie leader Rob Hinton) were knowledgeable, friendly, and best of all great fun. We felt safe even though we rode some of the most dangerous roads in the world. We experience contrasts in weather, road surfaces, people, and scenery .... from rolling in snow to sweltering heat in one day ... from beautiful sweeping bitumen roads to tracks that a goat would look twice at before attempting .... we saw the faces of people changing as we rode through this vast multicultural area ... and went from desert moonscapes to lush green valleys and snow capped mountains ....
India had captivated me .... The food, although very simple, was excellent ... the hotels were better than i had expected.. and even the tents we stayed in had amenities.
The optional Agra trip at the end was the icing on the cake. Visiting the Taj Mahal with our very knowledgeable guide was a great way to spend a morning and gives you a great appreciation of how life can always be worse...
I have since just come back from doing the same tour again with some modifications due to issues beyond anyone's control and I am heading to Rajasthan in November to see what I expect will be another truly wonderful side of this awesome place.
If you are looking for a trip that will pamper to your every whim and go 100% smooth then although Nevermind do their best to cater to everyone, this may not be for you.
However, if you are looking for something to test yourself a little and take you out of your comfort zone then I would highly recommend them.

Rajasthan is an amazing part of the world and one where the Nevermind team and their local partners clearly feel at home. Through the whole tour I had the feeling that I was not so much touristing in another country, but being welcomed into someone's home.
Matt (the owner of Nevermind) happened to be leading this particular tour - not always the case as Nevermind has a team of tour leaders from both India and Australia - and his passion for India and for creating a sustainable business in partnership with local tour operators was obvious from the first time I met him.
The group I travelled with where from various parts of Victoria, different stages of life and levels of motorcycle experience. The shared interest in bikes made it quite easy for us to get to know each other quickly and the group dynamic was relaxed and friendly.
I was among the least experienced members of the group, having only started riding in January 2017, however the group was very supportive and the Nevermind team were committed to ensuring that everyone in the group enjoy the adventure at their own pace. Because of this I was able to gain experience and build my confidence riding in a wide variety of conditions including rough paved "B" roads, gravel and sand, and hectic Indian city traffic, none of which I would have been likely to try were it not for this trip.
If you're at all interested in this style of travel I highly recommend considering Nevermind's Rajasthan tour as it delivers on the adventure, but at the same time is completely accessible to novice riders.
